Fighters Legacy

Fighters Legacy is another fantastic tribute to classic martial arts movie action scenes! Choose from 15 unique characters, each of which has a similarity to real life martial arts fighters as well as their associated fighting style and the attacks associated with those styles. Also in the audiovisual field, the game does not spare us and we can enjoy a great combo of appropriate music/sounds with very high quality environments. Unfortunately there is no online mode available but you do have the option to use remote play together on steam. A great introduction to fighting games for scrubs like me, with awesome, no-frills 80's [strike]Bruce Lee[/strike] movies flair (+animation to match). As of the date of this review however -a year after its release in EA- this one appears to be unfortunately forgotten and abandoned by the dev, who has many other projects running in parallel.

Story: It doesn't have one as far as I know. But I wasn't interested in finding out. Gameplay: It's not that great. I played as Billy (Bruce Lee). His fighting stance doesn't make sense to me. If I want to do a low kick stomp, I have to do a high kick first by tapping the kick button twice, which makes no sense to have that pre-requisit. So simple moves that Billy should be able to do with one button requires doing other moves first which doesn't make sense. It says the game is not flashy, yet you can front flip over your opponent. You can also hit him a few times to make your opponent twist a bunch of times in mid air. It also takes multiple high kicks to the face to knock someone out. When you move forward and back, Billy just weirdly walks slowly, not using any foot work. Being I have played many fighting games and have experience with them, I tried remapping the controls but I think the menu is broken and wont let me. The keyboard doesn't use Enter to select in the menu, it uses the letter R. Sound: It's meh. Just a generic sound track. Billy sounds like Bruce Lee. Overall: I bought this game expecting a realistic martial arts game but this game seems like it's just arcade-y but trying to be somewhat realistic and failing at It. Being so simple yet also being so unrealistic feels like an identity crises. You could say it's trying to mimic movies but it feels too slow and unfluid. This game feels very unpolished for 2019. I know it sayss early access, but I don't expect major changes to the fighters to change my mind on it. There is really no reason to buy this game.

I enjoy playing this game a lot. It is a bare bones fight game. No special moves or attacks. Just plain fight techniques. This game has different martial arts styles. Also characters like the ones in martial arts movies.

Looks good, but takes an age to load into the menu, then once you get to the VS screen it just freezes. I waited ages, varified the game files, but nothing. Freezes at the VS screen while the music plays. It looks like a very common issue and also appears to be abandoned by the developers. Waste of money and not even worth refunding (I got it in a bundle anyway)

I love this game, please add more fighters into the game. Also add more clothing option for male & female characters like DOA5LR beach wear. I need block and dodge button, add grappling & counter grappling too. Since this is PC platform game, it shouldn't be hard for you to add 4 more buttons (2 for dodge, 1 for grapple/counter grapple, 1 for block). If dodge is too hard for you to modify, then just add grapple & block.

Not worth getting, freezes at the VS screen every time. Unable to play, graphics look good from what little I saw.

[h1]2022-05-09[/h1] last time i have recommended this but after i bought shaolin vs wutang 2 i change my comment to not recommended you can just ignore this game go through to shallin vs wutang 2 it make fighters' legacy like a crap [h1] old comment[/h1] after i have finished arcade mode for 2 times i think i should recommend this game not only the not so bad graphic and easily understanding system but free-chain combo system amazes me too i can use the muay thai make a 11 hits combo by just a simple input it really remind me of 10-hits combos in Tekken series but it still got some lag when i were fighting it quite annoy me overall it is still playable !! ## but still i hope dev. make a smoother gaming experience before it quit EA. ### reducing the loading time....
