Stay Safe: Labyrinth of the Mad

TLDR; Stay safe is a fun and unique roguelike with a unique feel due to its unique crafting mechanic and champion system. When you beat a champion then you become the new champion of that floor. It is safe or me to say that this is a unique and fun roguelike game. Stay safe is the first roguelike game I've ever played and I didn't know what to expect from it. [h3]General[/h3] This is one of those games you can play as a complete noob, the game will gradually learn you how to play it. I like the idea that you can fight other champions so you can claim the floor and become the new champion of that floor. [h3]Game art[/h3] I love simple and interesting pixel art and the environment does that well here. The environment art is simple, interesting and appealing. Some enemy's are in my opinion a bit too simple and could use some spice to make it more interesting. [h3]UI[/h3] There is literally nothing bad in the UI! It is simple, clear and it fits with the other artwork of this game. I like that all the floors you have completed just stack up, this is a great way of giving feedback because I know how much progress I actually have made. [h3]Ending[/h3] Since I didn't know what to expect from this I just started playing not knowing anything about roguelikes, so before writing this review I did some research in other roguelikes. It is safe to say that this game is really interesting to play thanks to its unique mechanics which make this game more unique, unlike other roguelikes. This game also has a small but active Discord community. In this Discord, there is a game feed channel that notifies other users when someone has beaten another champion and became the new champion of that floor. This gives you a more rewarding feeling when you beat a champion. I really enjoyed playing this game, and I'm happy that this was one of the first roguelikes I have played.

Great game, but impossible to play because of the endless crashes. Shouldn't be a finished game if it is unplayable. Thought the update had fixed it, but it didn't and I just lost 2 hours progression. :/

Very fun game, if a bit hard at times. Be prepared to die a few times.

A beautifully designed game that is relentless since when you die, it's literally game over! But it's ADDICTING enough to start a new one when you're done being salty. This pixel-like art style really helps putting the atmosphere and the gameplay together as a whole. One of the few gems out there!

Would not work. The double loading at the start took longer to finish that World of Warcraft's, and then nothing happened. It counted as gametime but luckily I was able to request a refund in time. A shame because it looked like a polished game that I would enjoy very much.

Over all a decent game. There is a bit of inventory management and some balancing to be done, but did find it enjoyable. This can be cultivated into good game, already worth the price.

Bardzo ciekawa gra z unikalnym nastrojem i bardzo różnorodni przeciwnicy. Jedyny minus to brak ciągłego zapisywania gry!
