Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 27 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Chess Kingdom is a nice chess game which offers a fair difficulty level. I played many chess games with Stockfish and Fritz/Komodo Chess AIs and all had one thing similar, the AI from Beginner to Easy or from Easy to Normal made huge difficulty jumps. Chess Kingdom was like that, but after I talked with the Developer Pflanz, the Easy level AI get updated, and now the Easy Tournaments gets filled with AI Bots which can be beaten and so Chess Kingdom is the first chess game, which offers a slightly advanced Beginner level which fits the "Easy" Level. So it is now my favourite Chess game and I enjoy playing it, a clear recommendation.
The good. There is a massive library of problems separated by theme and level of content. I have not seen this done so effectively in any other program, and I have used many. There are levels for every player beginner to master. Modern programs really need this feature. The ability to review and export games are also very welcome features. The bad. In the section introducing players to the game some solutions require making moves that would be losing moves. This happened in some of the introductory problems for forking. In some the solutions was moving a piece where it could be captured for nothing. At least one problem in the section on pins had multiple solutions but accepted only one. The so-so. The pieces, which I have not checked if the set can be changed, might make it difficult for people with weak eyesight. Typical Staunton style pieces or some other really standard type of pieces would be a welcome addition. I did not notice if UCI chess engines can be imported into the program. I did notice a couple of variants offered in the program. Adding some of the common ones like Shogi or Xiang Xi would require a lot of work, but there are many excellent variants that can be played on an 8x8 board with standard pieces. Some that I know are played online are Knight Relay Chess, Knightmate Chess, Recycle Chess, and Cylinder Chess. The rules for all of these variants can be found online. A welcome option would be to arrange AI opponents in ascending order of strength. Overall this is an excellent program, offering a lot for a minimal price. It is excellent value for the money. Additional comments: 1. The puzzles by skill rating is an excellent feature. 2. The developer is very active in the development of this program. Important issues are very quickly addressed. The developer wants to make the program all it can be.

A low-quality, AI-generated game. It runs slowly and stutters constantly. The UI is an eyesore, and customization options only make it look worse. It is not even worth my time to list all the issues I encountered.
Better than Chess.com.
This is probably the best chess game on steam its not sloppy and it actually teaches u things (even the basics matter) but ill say this the AI is slow when u play chess games but its a 3 dollar game so i cant judge it too much to the developer (PLSS TRY TO FIX THE AI SPEED ITS SO FUN BUT THE THE AI JUST WANTS TO NOT RESPOND FOR THE WHOLE GAME ) 10/10
I mean its chess so you cannot go wrong and chess lovers would enjoy it! But the achievement part makes it actually fun and addictive
love it, great job. I have fun playing with friends in online pvp
New game chess in steam and this great i play then only games chess even there good but is perfect
Got it for a dollar so well worth it
