Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 23 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

The population of the harsh desert planet Kwalasha needs our help. Their peaceful lives, working in the mining industry, have been disturbed by a threat that they cannot face alone: the Arachnids. Under Colonel Hawthorne’s command, the Mobile Infantry will take back control of the planet and smash everything that has more than two legs. Enlist in this exciting military campaign, meet inspiring characters, visit amazing locations and do your part in the heroic war against the Bug!

The Arachnids may have virtually limitless numbers, but they lack the thorough tactical training that the Mobile Infantry enjoys. Position your units in advantageous choke points or on higher elevations. Be wary, however, that battle mechanics such as True Line of Sight and True Line of Fire may limit your field of fire and allow the treacherous Bugs to lay in ambush.

Optimize your army by choosing from a wide range of specialized unit types, each with its own strengths, weaknesses and set of unlockable elite abilities. Rifle Troopers can use their shotgun ability to hold back large numbers of Arachnids, M11 Marauders bipeds can unleash a withering mortar barrage and the Fleet Liaison can call down dropships with reinforcements or direct an airstrike to wipe out whole swaths of enemies.

The Bug infestation is rooted in elaborate underground hives. These present a unique challenge that demands a delicate balance between aggression and defense. Beware of the numerous tunnel openings, from which hordes of Arachnids can emerge.
To eradicate the Bug problem for good, their nests must be eradicated!

Kill em all. Don't expect gold, but for the price i got my moneys worth and some.
I wasn't expecting a lot from a Starship Troopers-themed RTS, and was pleasantly surprised by the enjoyment I was getting out of it... Until the fatal crashes started. Mid mission, nonstop I'd get a fatal crash that kills the game with zero error message, and no information as to WHY the game instantly closed down. Unfortunately these fatal crashes really kill any desire to make any progress in the campaign (despite constant auto-saves) because I know my system is leagues ahead of the recommended requirements, yet the game drops without warning or information on how to solve the problem. Things I've tried to remedy the solution: 1. Make sure drivers are up to date 2. Verify files in case any are missing 3. Reinstall the game (on an SSD this time) in case it had a bad install 4. Disable v-sync 5. Disable Steam in-game overlay I'd also like to point out that the only graphic settings in this game are: Enabling fullscreen, enabling v-sync, changing graphic quality (very vague), and adjusting resolution. If it were a graphics setting issue, I have no control over it. In conclusion, this game was clearly made by the Arachnids to thwart any attempt at enjoying what could've been a great game because I don't have the patience I used to wield on troubleshooting a game failing to work when I can just move on and play something else. I didn't pay much for it, and kudos to anyone else that enjoys it, but I don't play broken games anymore; my time's more valuable than that.

Never pass up a good thing. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE? This game really feels like you're playing the movie. It's got it all: satire, over the top dialogues, Mobile Infantry fighting bugs... I like the squad management aspect and playstyle, and placing your soldiers for optimal effectiveness. It does not feel like a copycat of other RTS's where you build your base and steamroll your way through the game with overwhelming force. The campaign is pretty cool and it's easy to get overwhelmed by the enemies, which is really reminiscent of that scene in the movie where they're entrenched in the fort and have to evacuate. I got the game and the DLCs at the same time so I do not know what ships with the base game vs. complete DLCs, but it's got tons of content. Highly recommended.
NO TACTICAL PAUSE. SOLDIER! Get ready to micro manage many varied units so very often. While your units die from bugs you can infect your PC with viruses by installing 3rd party tactical pause mods, just give them admin rights and you good to go or not ... Enjoy your SWEATY Starship Troopers experience.
+ Nice feeling from the movie. - Extremly linear, massive minus, no creative freedom of how to aproach targets. It´s quite hard if you dont fix your hotkeys good (Lefthanded is a problem if you dont rearrange hotkeys). My friend is a Die-hard fan of all things 1980s-90s and he loves this game more than life itself (allmost, he is playing this so often that I really had to get it myself to check it out if it was my cup of tea). I have not really given it a chance and only been playing it less than an hour so I know Im not really fair. But so far I´m bored. Rather play these RTS: The scouring (Came 2025,Warcraft3 inspired),Northgard,Bad north,Scourge of war remastered,Age2 I HATE: Linear games LOVE:Sandbox, skirmish, open systems/worlds, Choice matters. DONT CARE ABOUT: graphics I usually play around 100+ new games on steam each year and this is my humle ignorant review of it based on less than an hour gameplay and its not a bad game but not my cup of tea at all so far. The linearity perhaps later on
As an RTS noob and someone who liked the movie, I really enjoyed this game. It’s great to see a strategy game that DOESN'T need a minimum of 50 hours to complete, nor is it only for super-hardcore strategy players. Instead, you have a classic single-player experience with multiple levels and simple, clear objectives. The same goes for the actual gameplay, which is relatively easy to understand and gives you enough time to learn the strategic depth of each faction. I also like the core combat: the bugs are absolutely lethal in close combat, so you need to take them down from a distance before they can reach your lines. That makes it not only tactical in how you position yourself, but it also creates tense situations where that one bug gets killed just in time before it can get too close. However, this simple task is not that easy, and it tests your ability to adapt to challenging missions where a broken defensive line or an eliminated unit can quickly escalate and destroy your entire army. That’s why I can recommend this game for having easy-to-learn but hard-to-master mechanics, especially for those who, like me, don't have much experience with strategy games.
