Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 17/day in the week to Aug 18 → 46.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I love the graphics and the farming but sadly I don’t like the endless quests that have nothing to do with farming. Seriously if they rid you from going all over the place and focus more on farming then maybe I would play this more but sorry I just can’t get into a game that takes you away from tending to your crops in the morning over a stupid quest that has nothing to do with relaxing farming. If it was more like grand bazaar then yes I would love to get back into but sorry I am not into a game that focuses your time less to the farming part and more on running around like a goofball on a wild quest chase that isn’t even making sense what this has to do with farming. I don’t care that it has decor but for the love of goddess just rid the dumb quest and let us farm our own way. I hate these quest and I really just like farming in my own way without anything in the game telling me what to do. I am sorry if I sound rude but I just like games that is legit farming that is relaxing and if people hate me for that then I understand for I am just a player that likes relaxing farm games doing my own thing and that is why I don’t like this game nor think it be for people that don’t want a relaxing farm games to avoid it

There are bugs to still fix, but overall, I am enjoying the game. The days are too short though I have to say. But the cute anime style graphics are very esthetically pleasing. The colors in the sunsets are so beautiful. The music I think is on a too short of a loop and since it's obviously repetitive, it's one of those that gets old after a while. I had to turn the music off for that reason. The dialogue options are more in depth then a lot of other farming sims, which I greatly appreciate. I wish there were more bachelors though. I like the seasons and how the snow looks more real when your character is walking, although the texter isn't the best. The sounds of footsteps are the same on almost every surface like when you're walking on grass versus a wood floor, or that crunch you get from snow. Stuff like that, takes away the in depth feeling you get when you play the game. All the animal designs are so cute, and I like how you can cross breed different types of more rare rabbits and such. I like how the side quests give you a good amount of time for quests, especially the more advanced ones. I also like how the characters don't give you negative points if they don't like a gift. I could go on and on but these are just some of the things I am noticing. I know there are bugs to work out but I am very much enjoying the game overall :)
If you're buying this for multiplayer, don't bother. "1.0" is incredibly misleading.
had hope for this game but its just incredibly empty and certainly not worth the money. feels like a free to play game.
mình xin phép add có thể thêm bản việt hóa có thể tiếp cận nhiều người việt chơi hơn ạ

Biggest waste of money. Their game genre focuses on something very different from what is stated in the store. Steam doesn't refund because of world's most idiotic rule: playtime exceeds their policy. So you have to not know what you bought, in order to refund. Furthermore the game is full of bugs and glitches, with the team's focus going to their offcenter genres.
I have 236 hours in this game (at the time of writing) over 2 complete playthroughs: one in early access which ran flawlessly, one since 1.0 which has been a buggy mess. Starsand Island is a recommend for me, but it's complicated. The Positives: Farming is great, probably the best iteration of farming across all the Stardew Valley-likes that I've played (and I've played a lot). Farming has emergent gameplay that allows you to pull off crazy things once you explore and experiment with its systems. The automation comes early enough that the tedious parts you don't remember; and the automation comes from gameplay (immortal seeds) rather than 'here's a device that lets you skip the friction'. Ranching is almost as good - it's deeply embedded in the farming (rabbits and chickens control weeds and bugs on your plots, so you're balancing how many rabbits or chickens do I need). There's a nice closed gameplay loop where animal byproducts from the earlier animals are needed to make food for the later animals. On the other hand, there's no real production line from ranching - you vendor most of the material you get, and over both playthroughs I've yet to buy any of the highest tier animals as I've had no use for them. There are no fun production chains to set up wth randing, unlike, say, Stardew Valley or Coral Island. Building is amazing - the level of control for what you can build on your property is unprecedented in this genre, in my experience. You need to go to something like House Flipper to find a house building system as deep and customisable as this. That said, someone uncreative like me ends up just buying a blueprint, because I don't have the skill to buld from scratch even with the tools available. There is an slmost equally-broad range of outfits and outfit combinations for your character as well. Moving around the world is also best-in-slot. Very early on you get access to rollerskates, and the game regularly gives you improvements (hoverboards, flying cloud) plus bikes, cars, boats, mounts... I wish every Stardew Valley-like had this level of option for moving around the world - I no longer need to mod the movement speed when I can just stand on my hoverboard and go. The In-betweens: The world is very beautiful, and moving around it is constant eye-candy; character are also all very beautiful (in an empty-anime style), which is not quite as good. The world starts off as a fairly generic 'Japanese village', but as the game goes on the the team leans into their own (Chinese) cultural heritage, the world becomes richer and deeper and very enjoyable to be in. Multiplayer works well, but it's important to note that it's not Valheim-multiplayer or even Sandrock-multiplayer: it's Animal Crossing-multiplayer where you go visit another island, do some stuff, then go home. I have a lot of hours in Animal Crossing, so it's fine for me - but if you're looking to build a farm together a la Sandrock multiplayer, then no, this is not for you. NPC Characters are fairly thin - in early access, they were even thinner, but 1.0 adds new character-driven quests for most of the important NPCs... it's just that most of these are broken or buggy ><. There is very little inner life to these NPCs, unlike, say, Coral Island; but they are at least less empty than they were... when the new quests work. The Negatives: Events and Quests are empty: you participate in an event, but it's just you. There's no sense the NPCs are participating. There's an event early on, A Dream of BLue Tears, that tells you to go to the beach to look at how pretty it is. And it is! But it's just you, the player, looking at something a developer has made; there's no gameplay - not even an NPC saying 'look how pretty it is'. I could probably add the emptiness of most NPCs to this list, but they have improved somewhat in 1.0 - when they're not buggy. You get a houseboat! To fish! Which is great! But you cannot sleep on the houseboat, so you cannot fish at night - so it fills exactly the same function as the NPC boat you can use to fish, that you get access to very early on - except that you save a trivial amount of money on rental. You can customise the houseboat *extensively* - see the positive comments above about building - but you can't use it _as_ a houseboat. The big one: the 1.0 release is a buggy mess. My current playthrough is done except for two new NPC quests that are both broken - so broken they stop me even talking with those NPCs for affection or gifts or commissions or indeed anything except the quests that won't progress. My wife has had even more problems: she finished a playthrough in early August, no crashes or bugs - and two weeks later with 1.0 as she was continuing that playthrough, she was crashing every 10 minutes *on top of* quest-breaking bugs. 1.0 has not been pleasant. I've gone back to Coral Island for now, and will wait to see if this stabilises. Credit where it is due - the devs are patching regularly (and I imagine, frantically); the most recent patch fixed one of my broken quests but not the other, and none of the problems my wife has. It's a really interesting game with some deep systems and clever innovations on the genre - if you can look past the anime-emptiness. Just not at the moment. At the time of writing (Aug/Sept 2026) I would say: go play something else for now and come back to this in a few months, when hopefully it runs like it did in early access. PS: there's a lot of drama about possible AI use/ ownership by Tencent/ secretly run by AAA company/ telemetry being sent to China/ needing to wear tinfoil to play this. As far as I can tell, this is all drama caused by a superfan who was banned from the discord and then became a superhater, throwing accusations around hoping somethng would stick. I've not seen any evidence of any of these claimed scandals. The 1.0 bugs though - those are real, and those are game-breakers.
