Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After many years of living the hectic city life, you finally decide to leave everything behind to buy your first lot of land in the country and start a new life, in the quiet, close to nature. However, your skills as a farmer will be put to the test to make your ranch a flourishing business and earn the villagers' respect and esteem.
Take care of animals, grow crops, claim resources, buy new lots of land, and much more. You'll have plenty of space to create the ranch of your dreams.
The Ranchers is for you if you:
Are looking for a farming simulator with sandbox freedom to play your way.
You want a cozy space to unwind, but with enough action to keep things exciting.
Love farm simulator games.
Appreciate a big open world waiting to be explored.
Want to build alone or invite up to three friends to help out.
Find joy in the creative freedom of base-building and home decoration.
Fancy the charm of indie games built on passion.
Grab your trusty hammer and head over to your workbench! Gather basic resources and turn them into useful items such as fences, sprinklers, greenhouses, and much more. Transform your humble home into a thriving ranch!
Managing a ranch can be expensive. Optimize your Ranch's resource consumption, sign water, electricity contracts, or build your water wells, wind turbines, and solar panels and sell your surplus to the village.
A well-tended ranch will produce the high quality crops you need to catch the attention of the villagers, fulfill daily orders, and sell your goods at the local markets for a decent profit to keep things running smoothly.
It wouldn't be a proper ranch without animals! Build barns and coops of all sizes, and invite little (and big) friends to join you. From chickens and bunnies to goats and cows, you can pick your favorites or try to collect at least one of each.
Whether on foot, by bike, in a pickup truck, or in a fancy sports car, there is so much to explore. From markets and fashion boutiques to car dealerships, parks, or even a casino, it’s all waiting for you. But be mindful of the clock! Just like in real life, The Ranchers features both shifting seasons and a daily cycle, meaning you’ll need to plan your errands carefully while the stores are open.
A simple studio-apartment or a multi-story house? It's really up to you. Build your home from scratch and decorate it as you please. Rancher, home builder AND designer? Not too shabby.
Invite up to 3 friends to visit your ranch and enjoy country life together! Farm, build, raise animals, explore the open world, and help each other grow.
Each player has their own ranch and world progression. When you join a friend, you are visiting the host’s world, so ranch and quest progression remain tied to the host’s save.
However, playing as a guest still rewards your own progression: you earn money and Skill Points (XP), and you can bring any items and blueprints in your inventory back to your own ranch.
Play entirely solo, open your ranch to friends, or visit theirs whenever they’re online.
Are you a good citizen or living on the edge? In The Ranchers, actions can have consequences. Destroying, stealing or reckless driving may fall under the police’s radar, so be careful - or simply enjoy the rush of an action-packed getaway!
And once again - remember to join our incredible community on Discord.

Firstly was exited for the game but upon some research uhh yeah, me and my 3 friends have had controller issues in which where you tab out both controller and keyboard don't work, not been fixed yet, oh uhm also this from the vids ads etc.. However, there are no fruit trees in the game, nor is there even a fishing feature. It also advertised hunting, mines, dungeons, wild islands, shipwrecks, and monsters, but all of these are missing from the game too.

The driving is terrible and you start the game with a very long drive from the airport. Terrible way to introduce a farming game. The police aspect is way too harsh and totally unnecessary. The passing out and waking up in the hospital where it costs money and then you have to find your way home is way too harsh. The penalty for harvesting outside your plot is way too harsh. It all adds up to something that isn't fun.
In my opinion at least the game is poorly designed and has more frustration than fun points to it overall. The concepts is good and the scope of the game is much wider than your typical cozy farm/rancher game. But the frustrations. - No info. Chickens die is your barn from heat exhaustion or cold within 48 hours if you dont get A/C or Heaters. Despite it not telling you so until its too late. Plus they will escape if you don't build a fence around the barn. Great. Lost mine 3 times now but can't just skip them as you can't go past the linear quest line. - Mined a rock right outside my ranch. Insta 'spotted' by the invisible police and yep... your placed in jail. Just long enough for my chickens to get a disease and die again - Need a little water for those chickens. Nope. You need a big a$$ water tower that consumes a ton of expensive water per day. Just use the well to bring water? Nope. - Driving. Nope don't bother, its not great. Its ok but you will end up using the subway. Yeah the subway they built out to ranches. There are a ton of good things. Graphics are great. All the usual crops and animals look like they will be there. You can steal a car. Tho the second you drive past the police its back to jail - like why bother if you can't take it without being seen and actually drive it. Oh and there are a TON of police. Literally lucky to drive 15 seconds without one. It's close but the frustrations are too high, the lack of info too great. And I've played so so many games like this one.
If you don't like games that are still in early development (Remember, Steam only lets developers list their games as EA - this includes games that are in Alpha, Beta, etc etc.), please don't get this game. Too many of you expect way too much out of games that are still in a very early stage. This game has been a passion project by one person for many years (I believe he has a small team now, but it's mostly been him). That being said... yes, there are lots of bugs. Yes, there will be things in the game that are frustrating for now. But this game has so much potential, and it's already got so much going for it. You can tell there has been a lot of time and love put into it, and I'm sure he would continue working on it - but all the lashing out is what is probably going to end up preventing that. Anyways, that's enough ranting for one review. TLDR: • Don't get this game If you can't stand early development games that have lots of issues and still has a lot of work to do. • Get this game if you're like me and enjoy being a part of games in development & report bugs so the developer can continue work.
Sadly, after waiting for this game for nearly 3 years, I have to leave a negative review in the current state. The two biggest reasons are a) the misleading claim that this game is "co-op" - it is not. You have your own ranch, your friend can join but only the host can have any kind of progression, only the host unlocks new items, only the host can do quests. This is, according to the developer, an intended game design choice and not a bug. And the other reason is b) the usage of AI. The developer responds with purely AI-Generated texts in the discussions, which makes me wonder how much AI was used in the creation of this product. This is not a nice way to interact with your community and your customers. Currently me and my wife will refund the game, which is as I said very said since we waited a long time for its release.
Was honestly excited for the game. But there is literally 10% of what it was supposed to be in the game. Just disappointed.
This game has been in development since 2018. It was finally released a couple of days ago after 6 years, and it's still unfinished. Co-op is basically unplayable. You gain absolutely nothing by joining your friend...you don't get loot, you don't get money, nothing that benefits you. The game has so many bugs that I don't even know where to start. I've spent the past in-game week trying to get some chickens, and they just keep DESPAWNING. At first, I thought it was my fault, so I built fences all around the barn the correct way to make sure they couldn't escape. But today was my last straw. I picked up a chicken, walked into the barn, put it down, walked back outside to grab another chicken, came back in... and the first one was gone. Gone gone. DESPAWNED. The barn door was closed, by the way, so there was absolutely no way it could have escaped off the face of the damn earth. It's a FARM game called The Ranchers, and the ANIMALS are DESPAWNING. Make it make sense!!! I won't be refunding this cash-grab of a game. I'll just think of my purchase as a small donation toward a better AI app than whatever the developer used to make this joke of a game. Use a month's subscription from my purchase and fix your game, please. Much love xx Maybe game development isn't for everyone. <3
Not worth the money as of right now. Definitely fills like it needed another year before early access. The driving in the game is pretty bad, NPCs will just randomly start reversing in traffic. You can build a house, and fill it with appliances that don't have any function or purpose other than wasting electricity and water. Its a bare bones simulation game.
I'd really hoped to love and thoroughly enjoy this game, sinne I'd spent years waiting for release. I am DISAPPOINTED I'll start by saying I do enjoy the driving in the game, not to mention you can purchase other vehicles instead of driving the same model you begin with. Each vehicle also has benefits: how many passengers, how many chickens you can fit in, etc. Farming is very simple and straightforward, there's a few different farming mechanics but nothing difficult. WHY WAS THIS ADDED????? Let's talk about the unnecessary add ins in the game, shall we! Going around the world/map, you can only farm for resources for so long on your property before they all run out and theres none left. So what do you do? Well! You'll see there's plenty of stone to farm on the sides of roads and such and if you DO try going for them, you'll be swiftly met with a police drone and chase, and taken down town to be booked in. HOW IS THAT ILLEGAL IN THE DAMN GAME???!!! Since when is collecting stones on the side of a road a crime? If i could have anything in this game permanently removed, it'd easily be the police aspect. It's simply ridiculous! Removing it temporarily is NOT ENOUGH. I've uninstalled this game one too many times. Do better, for the sake of the players.
