The cabin hummed with the low, rhythmic thrum of the ion drive as I reclined in the pilot’s seat, boots propped up on the edge of the dash. Outside the reinforced viewscreen, the familiar clusters of the Milky Way had thinned into a sparse dusting of diamonds against an absolute, velvet void. I was drifting on the "Shoreline"— the very edge of charted space—where the stars ended and the great unknown began. A soft chime echoed through the cockpit, followed by the mechanical whir of the galley’s auto-chef. The aroma of synthetic maple and toasted grains began to waft through the recycled air. There were no deadlines here, no comms pings from central command; just the silent expansion of the universe and the slow, steady progress of my breakfast being synthesized. "Your meal is ready, Captain," the ship’s AI murmured, its voice as smooth as the vacuum outside. I didn't move just yet. I watched a distant, rogue nebula shimmer in a hue of violet that didn't have a name in any Earthly tongue. I was billions of miles from the nearest kitchen, but as the tray slid out with a warm plate of flapjacks and a steaming cup of dark roast, I decided there was no better place in the cosmos to be.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is really interesting on its face, but fails to go anywhere meaningful or fun. The gameplay loop is: 1. Predicable text box discussion about war/sabotage/fighting/stealing. 2. Go to place, click on stuff, wait. 3. Dig around in UI to buy stuff with loot. 4. Repeat. Nothing really interesting or new other than the quirky controls that feel a bit like playing with toys. That little joy wears off quick and you are left with the bones of something forgettable.

一般玩家应该适应不了这种操作,反正我快吐了,也可能是我自己不适合,个人不推荐
Reminded me a little of my time spent playing Privateer. That says it all in my opinion.
If you love to conquer wolds in a massive epic fleet, then this is a game for it. Graphics are fine, space lacks a little bit of content, feels really empty. However the mechanics of combat and fleet creation makes the game to a great strategic space conquest! Definetily worth it when discount is applied...
Awful balancing, play 5h and you've seen it all
Starpoint Gemini Warlords is a space shooter with a third-person view of your spaceship plus other features. There is a tactical management part to the game and a minimal form of RPG. The problem is that it tries to do many things but ends up not excelling at anything because every aspect is treated in a little in-depth way.
Game Camera (4.5/10):
The view, as I wrote, is at a fixed point at a short distance from your spaceship, too close to it, and there are no other views. You can rotate the camera around the ship or move the ship and the camera will follow you. The problem with the camera is that you will often end up not understanding which direction you are going, the only certain reference is the light coming from the engines to know which part of the spaceship you are looking at. I played both with keyboard and mouse and with the joypad, the latter in my opinion is the best solution.
Space Combat (5.5/10):
Whether you're on your own or within a fleet as a leader, you'll feel like you're doing almost everything yourself. It's not that the others aren't there, but you don't feel them fighting, it feels like you're inside a bubble where you can only see your actions. In combat it is better to use automatic turret fire, manual fire is not recommended. You can use four abilities (with cooldown) based on your character's class (which you choose at the beginning), attack with turrets or try to board an enemy spaceship. Being able to capture one depends by skills, research, the equipment of the soldiers, and the class of the two ships. Everything looks good, but if you play it, you will soon understand that after so many hours the combat will become boring, and being an important part of the game, you also understand that the game also becomes boring.
Tactics/Resource Management (4/10):
There is a huge game map (too big) with fog of war. On the map are planets, structures, and military forces. Each facility can give one of the three existing resources (ore, gas and scrap) or something else on a weekly basis. Let me say right away that resources are very scarce, to build and research you need a lot of them; so, the grinding is very high and expect a long time to be able to actively do anything. In the meantime, follow the main campaign or explore to make money and experience... Sounds like fun... True, at least until you reach so many hours in the game that make everything extremely repetitive and therefore boring (like the fight). The resources are used to build facility upgrades, for research, and to build spaceships. All of this is done with a game interface that is too simple, all aspects are treated in a rough way, there is nothing that will make you say that you are playing a AAA game.
Main plot (3/10):
I think that is the worst element of the game. I've done a lot of space games, from the various Wing Commanders, Freespace 2, all the various Xs (from X2 onwards). I think this is one of the worst storylines I've ever seen. Not only is it not believable how it develops, but then they force you to go into enemy territory at the beginning when you don't even have a proper spaceship. Generally, the plot develops with missions of increasing difficulty, but here you immediately start and have to do actions for which you have no chance of success. From the beginning you start to see the level of grinding of the game.
Character Abilities (6.5/10):
The RPG part is developed on skills that you can choose, they are used to be able to use certain phrases in the dialogues that unlock bonuses in missions, for tactical management or for combat. I think it is the only part I could give a grade higher than “ok”.
Game Duration (?/10):
I have no idea, I managed to do 49 hours, I couldn't play it anymore; I got nauseous if I thought I had to play this game again. In my opinion, you could do 150 hours or more, if you want to conquer the whole map and only if you want to use your time with a poorly made game like this.
Final verdict (5/10):
From the earlier ratings, it was clear that this game would never get a pass. I recommend to not buy it even with discounts of 80% or more, then everyone is free to do what they want with their own money and time. My experience with this game was a disappointment, I expected it to be like Starpoint Gemini 2 (which I finished), but it is definitely not the same type of game.
There are just too many things wrong with this game. Movement, especially in battle, is very chaotic. Your ship also moves obscenely slow, with no noticeable upgrade, for how far apart everything is and you'll spend half your time just letting your ship move on auto pilot. It's also a very grindy game when it comes to the money and levels, but the building resources play out more like an idle game where you're just waiting for 3 minute intervals. There's a lot of long-winded and boring dialogue with little-to-no voice overs. I honestly only bought it because the whole game with dlcs was on sale for $12.
I spent five minutes in the game, while the NPCs yelled at me for not being able to figure out the motion controls. If you're already good at flight games, I guess give the game a shot. However, the game actively punishes newbies.
