About

Feel your pulse quicken while piloting your 150,000t warship between asteroids in the vacuum of space in real time. All with fully simulated physics.

Balance material requirements with power, tonnage, and size while building your fleet to maximum efficiency, piece by piece, module by module. Will you create a large number of smaller, more nimble vessels or double down on a massive station packed with firepower?

Harvest and process valuable materials from asteroids for your profit margins, or use the bountiful resources for the maintenance and expansion of your own mercenary fleet while doing missions for the highest bidders in the sector.

Research for new modules and tools to keep expanding your fleet of ships and mining stations. Build link gates to gain access to new riches in new sectors of space.

The more you mine, the more you build and the greedier you get, the higher your heat signature becomes. Once it reaches critical levels, the aliens will detect you. Defend your fleet at all costs using defense systems and ships of your design.

Really wanted to like this game. Love the concept. The art style reminds me of Eve Online. I mean, I really, really like the concept. But the execution is terrible. The interface is non-intuitive. Mission objectives are vague to the point of being meaningless. A general lack of attention to the actual game play experience killed this game for me. I didn't get through the second tutorial, which references concepts like transferring power, construction cranes, and solar panels, that have no explanation and don't work even after trying what others have discovered through painful experimentation. If you're going to have a tutorial, it must be bulletproof. It must. This one is like being thrown into a 500-level college course while a freshman. I constantly wondered what context I had missed, and the answer was none. It doesn't exist. Might give it another chance after a dozen more patches or so. You should come back then too. Still looking for my perfect space simulation. Bitterly disappointed by this one.
Got it and realised the Devs are not active and the game likely isn't going to progress to any reasonably engaging extent.

OK .... I like a lot of this games features and its astetic, there are some really nice features I like about this game. Is it worth the price ... NO ... NO its not! Not even close to being worth the current price. Yes I have lots of hours tracked ... its easy to do when you work from home and the game is simply running in the background in windowed mode while miners mine and refiners refine and you are not actually playing yourself but are letting the simulation just run. Playtime is not an indicator of this game being engaging etc its an indication of how long I was afking it to build up resources / unlock research etc while not actively looking at the game or playing it. The current asking price is too high for 2 reasons, reason 1 your asking what a well polished finished game would cost ... and this is not that! And 2 your communications skills in terms up providing any progress updates or minor updates for the numerous bugs and issues the game has is the main crux of the issue here, your community engagement is absolute bare minimum and discord doesn't count as community engagement when a large number of users have no interest in discord and are not buying the game from discord. I work in software development and the length of time between patches when I look at the history is concerning, this is either going to take a year or even multiple years to be finished at the current pace its going. Remember its 2026 and the game was first worked on in 2019 were 7 years from the initial development started to now and its barely more than a demo at this point.
It's crazy how many people write negative reviews on this game. So the Devs took a break. Cry me a river. Most people have less than 10 hours and are saying don't buy, don't buy. Shoot. I've spent 133 hours and I still haven't left the Sol system by choice. I've maxed research, maxed my resources (and can go dominate a zone when I need more), and am enjoying ship and space station designs. To say not to buy this game is lunacy. Buy it. If you like ANY ship genre, buy this game. It's not the best. But its potential where it is at right now far outstrips what is out there. It's more real, more challenging at times, and more rewarding once you figure it out. Best advice, start small, build up. Learn how small ships work, add to them, see if it breaks. This is a gold mine that deserves respect where it's earned it, don't believe these stupid -20 hour players who didn't even learn the game let alone what you can do once you have all the tech researched.
I will change this to a recommend when the controls are fixed. Right now this is the computer game equivalent of squeezing your own head as hard as possible. It makes no sense to make a game this difficult to control.
Nothing from the devs for 30+ days. Pass on this one until the devs return and address UI and gameplay issues.
High risk purchase at this point. 2 months with no communications It’s not enough in its current state for the asking price.
dead game no updates what the heck happened ???? you guys had me... anyways theres not to much to do here, solid base, but no reason to progress and the spaceships you create have a tendancy to rip apart. awesome concept but no end game and tbh not much of a game as is.
Feel I should make this review early on to counterbalance all the silly talk about controls. The controls are fine the take some getting used to but once you do it is very satisfying. My top tip is simply take it steady use momentum begin deceleration early, and aim to just miss your target by a whisker(to avoid slamming straight into it!) :D Space flight is directly linked to weight, and if your vessel is unbalanced it will make your maneuvers skewed, the Hulk Node placement is key as those nodes fire the maneuvering thrusters if you have uneven nodes on one side, then that side will have a thrust bias which you will have to account for. Main thrusters are a different beast, once you get them, I use them for acceleration and deceleration only for now, its too wild to try use them for turns. There are so many arcade type space sims out there, only X4 and this have really scratched that 6 degrees of freedom. Starfield was a huge let down for me on that score as were a few other games. As for the game itself, there isn't much of a true game loop or goal, early on resources were extremely thin and consumption was brutal. This has since been fixed and resources are enough to build something substantial. I did start the campaign but it was spotty and honestly I would say its basically an extended tutorial and guides you through all the functions. My personal gripe is that it seems like you build in sector and pack up and move on to the next, there isn't much by way of building a sector presence and then trading between your various sectors, nor is there any discernable NPC factions with their own goals. The pirates are really just there. But this being early access I expect this to change eventually if the roadmap is to be believed. Also you pilot each ship yourself so the advertised "commanding a fleet" is very very loose. Things like setting patrols or autonomous ships are not a thing - even locking a formation and have a formation essentially mirror your inputs would be a nice touch to begin with. For now in the short term I am enjoying building various ship types and stations and saving the blue prints, I am looking forward to building a corvette of some description. Is this game what i thought it would be...? Not quite. Does it have potential? Absolutely. Are players expectations so early on a bit unrealistic? Yep I do recommend this game in it's current state but on the basis that you know that you are just tinkering and getting familiar with the mechanics etc. If you are an arcade space sim person... this probably isn't for you. Keep an eye on progress and see what happens, check the roadmap good things are planned.
