Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really wanted to like this game. I loved Skyrim as a kid and enjoyed many of the Fallout games, but this game is not like those. It would be a disservice to simply call this "Skyrim in Space", it's not. It is its own game. Unfortunately that game is quite boring. The combat is alright, the writing is serviceable but made me roll my eyes a few times, and the quests don't really have any hook. The absolute best part about this game is the atmosphere and building ships. I loved the ship builder and spent probably a fourth of my time in it. I enjoyed flying it and having random encounters in space. But I think what really soured this game for me was when I found in empty ship in space, took it for my own, and flew it back to one the starbases. It had contraband on it and I was arrested by the space cops, which is fine and fair. The issue is that it forced me into a spy questline where I hated the main quest giver. Made me spend 15 minutes walking about the ship and listening to him drivel on. It pissed me off so much. Even reloaded my save, discarded any contraband I could find and still got taken there. I think there are good things about Starfield, but it's simply just mediocre to me.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Great game, with multi endings and gameplay
L'ho comprato da un mese e devo dire è veramente molto bello, immenso, grafica ultra e storia profonda. Ho un computer di fascia alta, molto alta, non so se è per quello, ma a me sembra fantastico.,

This may be a hot take and that's fine. I would actually recommend this game. I actually enjoyed this game. I'm talking about the base game. I hadn't replayed it for the DLC's yet and obviously the reviews are very mixed on those too. Just because I enjoyed this game, doesn't mean I disagree or invalidate the negative reviews of this game. Conceptually, the story is actually the thing that I enjoyed most about this game because of how niche it is. A little off-topic, but I enjoy Rick and Morty and the first season of Altered Carbon for the same reasons I enjoy this game. They involve sci-fi concepts that I could only wish were real-life. Those concepts being an either/or or a mix of: 1. Infinite universes (very dumbed down in this game and you'll know what I mean if you've beaten the game) 2. Exploring or even just simply knowing that different complex civilizations exists beyond Earth 3. A mix of Firefly and Cyber-punk aesthetics on some of the hand-crafted areas 4. A story that really captivates the idea of the unknown. What *did* you actually find out there? What does it actually do? Before I go into spoilers, here are some things that I think are worth noting for those who just care about gameplay. These aren't listed as either pros or cons, just info for you to decide. - The gunplay in this game is an improvement from the Fallout franchise in my opinion. Guns also seem more entertaining to use and there's a decent variety of them. However, at the same time, since this is a sci-fi game, I do wish there were more variety in the way of laser/energy based weapons. - The shipbuilding mechanic is a great addition and it's nice building your space-home how you want. My biggest gripe is that you can't build capital ships though they exist in the game and are seeming invincible and act as just placeholder locations to go to and from. It's definitely not on No Man's Sky levels. However, you can build a decently sized corvette style ship, or stick with a cozy small-crew ship. - The characters are okay...I didn't really grow attached to any singular character and none of them really captured my eyes. Except my own character, who I named Starlord and gave him this 80's era hair-do unintentionally. Maybe that's why I enjoyed this game so much. Made it look like this was happening during the 80's? - Exploration is only really fun when you go to special area, or you go back to the Earth or Moon to look for landmarks. Other than that, it's an ocean wide, but a puddle deep. I think this is where Bethesda skimped out the most on maybe in an effort to launch the game on time. This was an ambitious IP that they should have tried to do maybe 5 years from now. - Quests. Again, the main quest I enjoyed, and there are some really cool side-quests in this game. I don't know what all I've done or hadn't done but there was a main quest mission where you have to go to this distressed colony and you know you're hunting a thought-extinct alien creature. That whole mission was done well even though it's very much pre-determined how it's going to go. Reminded me of Pitch Black mixed with Deadspace. - Lastly, that's the last thing I'll leave with. There's numerous nods or apparent nods to other sci-fi games or films that paved the way for this game. However, this game didn't have the right vehicle for pavement. Like, it was supposed to be a boat, but instead it's just trying to go on land with mechanical legs instead of wheels. Essentially, the giants propped this game on its shoulders but it didn't know how to follow in their footsteps. *SPOILER ALERT* That's what takes me to the end-game. I very much enjoyed this idea that you find yourself at the end of the universe only to be given a few options. One of them being that you can start anew. You get a second change to go back and do things the exact same, or go back and do things differently. I mean imagine that? What if in real-life you got to go back and re-do it knowing people and who they were before you met them, having a chance to do things differently again? That's why I enjoyed this game. So clearly the game spoke to ME. I can understand that it didn't speak to everyone.
Einfach mal das spiel genießen^^
I didn't enjoy starfield, bought on PC purely for the Star Wars Genesis Mod. Very easy set up (I am basically a caveman) and the game plays like it was always meant to be a Star Wars RPG. The mod is free, frequently updated and made with absolute love.
Great speace game!!
