Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Decent game that they fixed alot of the problems its not skyrim level but its kinda close. Mods make it a good game.
This isn't just Bethesda's worst game—it's also one of the worst games I've ever had the misfortune to play. It retains Bethesda's old flaws while adding a handful of new ones. The shooting mechanics don't make up for the incredibly boring exploration and tedious quests. And if a Bethesda game has uninteresting exploration, there's no point in playing it.

im not sure i understand why people hate on this game. I personally have enjoyed the slow and fast paced gameplay of exploring fighting and running quests.
Yes
A big disappointment. Just like Fallout 4, it was entertaining long enough to be past the return for refund requirement. This game is the definition of Copy/Paste. The design of the game is so repetitive and every planet feels boring and generated without any artistic design. Landing on one planet feels the same as landing on any other planet - despite the weather/gravity changes. Progression & leveling up is not satisfying at all because you always feel short on one skill or ingredient requirement. It just feels like a constant "go fetch" quest for everything you do and you're constantly staring at loading screens. If you are reading this, I advise not to purchase the next Elder Scrolls Game as it is likely to follow the same boring formula used to create this game. The story is mundane, the characters are irritating. Save yourself some money and try Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, or Crimson Desert.
I really enjoyed Starfield as an open 'world' SF RPG with loads of quests, fun combat, and interesting mechanics. I'm at just under 400 hours and have complete the DLCs as well as the main questline, but without a 1st trip through the U. At about 380 hours I installed my first 'creation' so there is a ton of content. The assortment of side quests and interesting dialog, especially from you companions, was great fun. The RPG staples of skill tree development, loot, and story-driven reasons to do just about anything were all present and well done. Some of the 'side quests' are quite deep and involved--almost whole games. The setting is refreshingly sci fi. I'm tired of fantasy since it's everyone from everyone and while I enjoyed the first few modern Fallout games, I've gotten tired of those. But not Starfield--so far...maybe never because there are some great 'creations' (mods) available and intentionally supported. Some add small things, other creations are game overhauls. I like that there is a compensation system in place for modders! My favorite games are often heavily modded in the end, giving me great value; so it's good to see some systematic compensation. Disabling achievements for creations/mods is an unnecessary disappointment and own-goal reported by many. The UI design is console-optimized and thus can be very dissatisfying on PC. Especially inventory or any table/list--everything you expect to be there is not because of some lowest-common-denominator focus on console controllers. Luckily there is a great Praxis mod that 100% fixes the poor console-focus/Xbucks controller UIs really well; I would pay for that but it was free. Graphics are appropriate for the game although the worlds are often more empty than they should be. Important not to use the 'realism' excuse in making an SF game like this. As per Gabe Newell: "I have never thought to myself that realism is fun", a relevant reminder to devs. Audio is good, although I near mute music in most games so can't speak to more than vocals and effects. There is ship building and outpost building if you like that kind of activity. If you don't, it's effectively optional and non-blocking if you want to avoid it. There are ships for in-game purchase if you don't want to play [much] with the builder. The difficulty settings are really well done. You trade off easier settings with reduced XP. It's pretty great, allowing you to jack up enemy damage and sponginess while getting some extra carrying capacity. And even with normal player damage and max enemy toughness, a mediocre player can survive most of the time especially if they plan, sneak, play ghost recon in space, use starpowers. There is an unbalanced fight in one of the DLCs where you can't do much of this, but that's it. I couldn't stop playing for a couple months. Too much fun. Now after 387 hours I can at least play something else. But will leave Starfield installed since I expect to come back to it periodically. I would buy another Starfield game/DLC. Whereas I would not buy an ES or FO game; just no interest anymore.
被低估的佳作,轻松100小时。但通关过了之后就索然无味,没有二周目的兴趣。
The fact that Bethesda tries to defend this game by saying "the original astronauts weren't bored when they went to the moon" tells you all you need to know. I had read the bad reviews, but recently bought this game, because I thought Bethesda might have taken time to improve the game in the last couple of years, much like CD Project Red did with Cyberpunk 2077 (which turned out amazing). Oh boy, was I wrong. Bethesda has pretty much been making the same game for the past thirty years, but they've lost the ability to tell a compelling story, write interesting characters or make a fun game. They made a space game, where going into space and exploring is the most boring part. You pretty much have to travel by going through a bunch of menus. and the planets are all pretty empty and bland. The same goes for all the npcs and companions: bland and unmemorable. The best companion is unironically the one who is supposed to annoy you (the adoring fan). At least that guy doesn't complain about every single decision you make. And after all these years they still haven't found a way to make it so you don't spend half of your time in menus, checking inventory, buying stuff, selling stuff, tweaking weapons,... Last but not least, I have a decent system, I get 60 FPS+ on high settings and no matter what I do with the graphical settings (even on low), i get stutters every few seconds and have found no way to fix it. I really wanted to be surprised, but this is definitely the worst game they've put out so far. Bethesda still counts on modders to fix everything that's wrong with their games, but even they couldn't save this one.
