Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, PlayStation publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
Initially, I was skeptical about all the mixed reviews around Starfield, so I decided to give it a try myself. I played for about an hour and... why does everything feel so clunky? Character movement, switching weapons, the controls in general. I still can’t believe I have to press Tab every time I want to change a weapon. It honestly feels like some of these controls came straight from the 2000s. And that’s what makes it even more disappointing, because the game clearly has so much potential. The graphics, textures, atmosphere and overall world look really, really good. But the controls? Come on, Bethesda. For a game this ambitious, they shouldn’t feel this outdated. Really disappointed so far.

By far, the most advanced space game. Starfield gives you everything you want in a space adventure. The drama, visuals, your customization, and add-on content. All in a space-related game. I don't do swords, I don't do post-apocalypse, I do space games. An while grifters pay people to post negative things about it, their existence alone is the proof that Starfield is the premier space drama for legit space enthusiast like me and you.
It's got it's problems (and some mods help, StarUI is great) but it's a good space romp. Customizing my ship is addictive and slowly getting better at building is also fun. Wish there were more variety of weapons....wish there were more of a variety of armors....but mods have been helping there. It's just a game to have fun in. The story is ok (why isn't the Terrormorph the primary or secondary quest?!?! One of the most interesting things and it's wrapped up super fast). All in all....get it on sale and just have some Nasa-punk fun.
I honestly dont ubderstand the ratings 8f this game. 100 hours and its still growing on mem Empty? I dont think so. But it has a storyline, that only gets better as you get in. If you only wanna play 1 hour and then talk bad, you havent even scratched the surface
If you ever played any bethesda game then you should have an idea of what to expect. lots of stuff to do, lots of stuff to take with you that isn't nailed down, and lots of places to explore. You can also build outposts on planets though i haven't had much time to deal with outpost building and management. you can even build a ship from the ground up. my current ship is the S.S. Wide Load which is a big ass chungus of a ship that has poor movement and speed but makes up for with Girth and firepower. Think of it as Skyrim or Fallout 4 but... IN SPACE! I haven't encountered any bugs as far as i can tell so far. I also have tested this game on Linux before swithcing back to windows for school reasons and i can tell you that it works fine on linux. If you like skyrim or fallout 4 but felt like it was missing intergalactic space travel and dog fighting then this game is for you.
This engine can't support what Starfield wants to be.
get the star wars genesis mod pack, it saves this mess of a game and makes it worth playing, RIP storage tho... (oh and i got the game for free with 7800xt promo, thank god...)
