Honestly, as someone who never really got into Skyrim, playing Starfield has finally made me see the appeal of that classic Bethesda RPG formula. There’s definitely a hook here. It’s got a massive universe, really cool lore, and mechanics like settlement building that are super addictive once you get into them. That said, it’s a bit of a mixed bag, and it definitely has some old-school quirks that hold it back from being a masterpiece. First off, performance-wise on PC, it’s actually solid. Running it at 1440p on High settings, I get a really smooth 90 FPS indoors, and it holds a steady 60 FPS even when you’re running around the big, built-up cities. Visually, the game looks great, but it definitely lacks depth in the lighting department, which can make some areas look a bit flat. The biggest issue is that a lot of the game feels like it belongs in the Xbox 360 era. The amount of unavoidable loading screens you have to sit through just to get anywhere completely kills the immersion. Luckily, the Free Lanes update came out and fixed a lot of the traversal issues, which massively helped modernize the overall feel of the game. If you like "cozy games," you’ll love the exploration side of it at first. Planet hopping, scanning stuff, and just wandering around is super chill and easy to get lost in. But fair warning: after you've hit a handful of planets in your first 50 hours or so, the magic kinda fades, and it loses its shine because you start seeing the same patterns. It also lacks the depth of other modern RPGs—the enemy AI is pretty brain-dead, and the stealth mechanics are incredibly basic, which sucks because the game tries to convince you that stealth is a viable way to play. As for the DLCs, they’re hit and miss. Terran Armada is actually a blast and has a really good story, but it’s way too short and honestly ends just as it’s getting really good. On the flip side, Shattered Space was a total letdown. It adds some neat lore for that specific clan, but compared to the epic mainline faction quests in the base game, it just has zero weight to it. The Good Stuff Runs great on PC: Getting a smooth 90 FPS indoors and 60 FPS in heavy cities at 1440p High. Classic Bethesda hook: The settlement building is awesome, and the universe lore is genuinely interesting. Super cozy exploration: Total vibe for the first 50 hours if you just want to zone out and planet hop. Updates helped: The Free Lanes update fixed a lot of the clunky traversal and made it feel much more modern. The Annoying Stuff Feels dated: Way too many loading screens for a modern game; feels a generation behind. Half-baked systems: Terrible AI and basic stealth mechanics that just don't work well. Flattens out: Exploration eventually loses its luster once you realize the planets start repeating. Weak DLCs: Terran Armada finishes way too early, and Shattered Space feels totally skippable. The Verdict If you're looking for a chill, cozy space RPG to sink some hours into, I’d say go for it. It’s got some legacy Bethesda jank, terrible AI, and the DLCs are a bit weak, but the smooth PC performance and recent updates make it a really fun galaxy to get lost in—at least for the first 50 hours!
好无聊的游戏,玩起来好累,好复古,一点也不流畅,但是这个画风我挺喜欢,挺有质感的
CLUNKY BUT THE BEST SPACE SANDBOX OUT THERE: Space games usually fall into either fighter combat sim or mining. While I don't begrudge that approach Bethesda decided to go for action with a relatively smart space world. THIS IS NOT Oblivion, its a SANDBOX. If you go into it with that mindset your going to get a playground with tons of weapons paths and playstyles (they may be a little challenging to refine at first 'clunky' after all). Its an exceptionally fun game- it just has a odd heart and wont hit you with overwhelming good writing or characters. CAVIOTS: I didn't play this game at launch- it wasn't ready what it is now is all I can attest to. The game is very purpose driven which shocked me- a lot of what people hate is actually normal from space games. It can be a loading simulator because it respects your time and doesn't want you cruising for 30minutes without meeting something (you can though if you want). Most systems have to level up your skills to access because the game is heavily built for a game + meaning if you play 2nd and 3rd playthrough you will be getting stronger. The main story is using modern theory so its kind of hollow but if you ignore the theory and realize the meta for gaming + you realize the game is clearing a way for you to be any character you want. The GREAT: clearly the inspiration is cyberpunk and mass Effect and oddly it does it insanely well. Unlike Bethesda which makes you play one way while fooling you with great dialogue- this game allows you to go war path, silent mode or charismatic convincer on just about any quest. Its simple but I love being able to take that approach to any problem and get the outcome I want -polished or not. The game doesn't punish you for being a phyco - their is a crime systems but you earn money and can pay off bounties. Weapons: they took every type of weapon known to man and threw in a few more than randomized it so any weapon could be lethally then they added perks if you really want to go all out. MASTER CLASS. Space: Its not just "feels like" -it is. Ships are not dog fighters where you ask how does a pilot last for 30hours in space -they are submarines that move with speed and purpose and wail on each other until one is victorious. The combat is easy to learn and can reward you. YOU can upgrade ships or build new modules making your space warfare so awesome. Piracy is a little difficult at first but once you know you have to get targeting perk and crush the enemy engines to board its addicting. (though if you like blowing up ships and looting salvage that way is there from the get go). Character and story: I found the character creation soo varied. If you take the time and choose wisely you can make the character you want and even more open the door to mods which a developer should always build for the idea of. The story of many quests are actually pretty good. Skyrim is frustrating after you have played it once. It has 3 banger tracks and some good quests but its ambiance music is terrible and you will listen to shows while gaming if your smart. This game is a little disruptive because it doesn't penalize you from doing that but many quests will grab your attention and A LOT reward you for paying attention. The game doesn't penalize you for going your way and has SOOO many quests. AT first like with a lot I thought this was negative but I realized just choose the ones you want and the left over will help you keep track of where your main planets are. They also learned from Skyrim - plenty of merchants will buy your stuff and again although its clunky , you can sell your illegal goods once you know how. The CLUNK: The music is inoffensive- like a charming restaurant, but it actually holds it own for everything but the main quest which it hypes up for the little pay off. Serviceable and good for a space game. Everything is done for a reason- Bethesda could have cut corners but they didn't want to get rid of dogfights or deep mining. The resources allow for mining and trading and your battles are more like two subs going at it with the intensity of the dog fighting. However while they didn't cut corners they also did make many areas of space combat so easy that the clunk does kind of stand out. Piracy IN SPACE is the coolest thing yet to my knowledge only a mod on mount in blade even considers it. This game has it BUT does not advertise it. FEW people even think about how cool it is to in space knock an enemies engines out and board the enemy. THATS LITERALLY a GENRA on steam and everyone argues for their favorite pirate game based mostly on BOARDING. Think about it weather you like Sid Meyers, Black Flag or Rose is down to how much you like boarding the enemy. THIS showcases the clunk- everything is in here but some things your going to have to ask the internet how it works then laugh when the tool tip appears on a loading screen a day later. The best example though was this: trying to rescue a stranded person they asked for a repair kit... I search for 1000 items just to check the internet and find their called "ship parts" and I had about 50 of them. The game didn't make it easy. It fits if you think for a second but their are a lot of resources because base building is a thing. Base Building and DEEP Mining: In my experience it should be deep mining makes a greater game but usually it just kills an action game as it limits the perspective of the game. In here they did action first but managed to allow for base building and deep mining. YOU CAN still do this. But if your looking to the game to give you a reason to- it wont. Its there kind of like you can level up things easy in Fallout 4 but its also just as easy to ignore base building in it-the same here-. THE BAD: being a Bethesda in space was a horrible combo- I don't think it can be done. If you want perspective try Spaceborne 2- it REALLY tries. It leans into to dogfighting and I don't think its bad but honestly space should be about piracy and leaning in to pirate and sail games just with cool warships and fun weapons. The core built around this lends itself to everything else. Because Bethesda can not create 100 complete worlds it ends up being 5 simi complete worlds with 100 randomized worlds that have 100 randomized habitats...... AND IT WORKS.... BUT only if you add SPACE. Think to Sid Meyers pirates- brilliant but simple... essentially ships on a ocean with 5 areas in port..... just like Mount in Blade. Simplicity is a strength. Starfield though said F that and charged onward without the talented writing team and with a sandbox focus. It was going to be panned because so few people have perspective. SO WHAT IS THE BAD REALLY? History- Fallout 76 was horrible - is it fixed now? don't know. My Oblivion remastered works but that cant be said for everyone. These games hurt starfield (collectively not in the run up). Its actually a good game but just like Cyberpunk they promised everyone the moon and couldn't deliver. Hearing about the recent stuff I'm shocked it was made at all. Lets be real compared to Bioware -Bethesda is trucking forward despite the wounds. But its the Moding that's the issue and not..... MODDING: This game has some issues (don't get them totally) with being accessible but insanely just like Total war Attila the moders came riding to the rescue. MONEY grubbing or not- paid mods allow it to be seen a "LIVE" and thus modding is strong and well and the updates keep coming. Spend 10 dollars and fix anything you don't like and still get achievements or say F it and get all the cheats you want. The mods came to save the day. I don't think starfield was broken but again playing space games having the community that will ride to your specific rescue is much appreciated. IN SUM: Its great but its in space- understand what that means - its not Oblivion- its fallout 76 in space and it works. Much better game. The Price is based on how much you like sandbox. :)
Wer die Spiele von Bethesda liebt, der liebt auch dieses Spiel, also so geht es mir zumindest. Bugs wie eh und je in Bethesda Style :D
I loved this game for years now. I keep coming back to it.
Very realistic feel.
主线没有支线好玩 重复性高 小活动任务好多 建飞船建的停不下来 能不能把船厂配件都放在一个地方 哨站的船厂配件还是少啊
...
Game was awesome trying to find all the fauna was difficult
