Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Such a disappointment coming back to this years later. Not anything like the Bethesda exploration and storytelling I've come to expect. Much of the hours played are spent travelling, waiting on loading screens, and going from point to point in the most slow and boring fashion. Dropping it for good after trying a second play through.
I’ve played this game for over 250 hours, and despite an occasionally mediocre overall plot, it excels in terms of gameplay and immersion; I also recommend it for the many downloadable mods that expand the gameplay. Graphically, the game has been heavily optimized since launch and looks great today, delivering excellent performance and frame rates. -Graphics score: 9 out of 10 -Story score: 5 out of 10 -Gameplay score: 8 out of 10 Final score: 7 out of 10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

It's not that good, but it is fun. Great soundtrack, great voice acting, sometimes great visuals. It's enough to find it addictive, unfortunately.
Writing my review much later but honestly remember playing this day 1 legit trying to find the fun. Was definitely not optimized for lower/mid range spec'd PCs on day 1 since I did have to make a bunch of adjustments to get it running smoothly (plus FSR patch). Overall, everything you may have heard about the planets and procedural generation is true, the infinite planets you can explore are so boring with nothing to actually do on them except the same copy pasted mini mission you see on every other planet. Genuinely think this game would have been so much better if they lowered the scope and just had like 10 well crafted planets to explore with Skyrim/Fallout level detail. But between the bland story and copy paste side quests, uninstalled and prob wont pick it back up unless a complete overhaul is made.
really tried to like this game when I first got it but never really enjoyed playing it. recently figured I'd give it another try but in the two hours I just played it I remember all the reasons I didnt like it before. loading screen after loading screen, boring areas, poor looting, boring hud, unremovable healthbars on enemey, everythings a bullet sponge and horrible space combat. I loved the fallout games and enjoyed skyrim but as for starfield... bassically any other space game is better. very disapointing.
the game is a great concept. I really would like to play an open world RPG game in space. The main issue that makes the game unplayable to me is the terrible programming of speed transitions between slow to fast walking to jogging and running. I only play games using controller and I find unbelievable that after decades of progress in game development, this feature is not made right in this game. For instance, Skyrim had it right. How is it that their newest game doesn´t? This issue breaks the immersion to me and makes the game unplayable. After waiting long time for updates to fix this and realzing that there is none targeting this issue, I cannot recommend this game
Un jeu superbe que j'ai adoré. Il est très beau et pour ceux qui, comme moi, aiment se balader dans l'espace et ne pas faire les missions principales, ce jeu est fait pour vous. +400h de jeux et je continue
I have 200 hours in Game Pass and buyed on Steam sale. This game is an RPG with space thematic and not a space simulator. The fact this game have tons of bad reviews is because there's a lot of stupid gamers who expect any game to fill in what they created in their expectations before they even play the game. And have those who build their opinions in some idiot Youtuber who did not played the game properly or just want engagement with free hate. I really love this game, I liked the quality of details, shooting and ship fight is fun to me, explore is cool ( yeah ♥♥♥♥♥, if you think most of the planets in the universe should be populated like is in your mind, that's your problem ), Is just Bethesda game. Is good, it have stuff to improve, but Skyrim had it too and I loved anyway. Don't be dumb expecting things in any game. Just play it and see for yourself if it is for you.
A lot of fun and way better than it was the first time around in 2023. Doesn't deserve the massive amount of hate it gets.
you know what . if youre over 30 or dont need constant action its , and i stress , okay ... not great or even good . okay
