Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Very low-depth, low-effort game. I have never been this dissapointed in a game ever. I didn't even have a single negative review for a game in steam until this. Maybe they tried to focus on graphics, but good graphics don't fix terrible, bland and boring environments. The closed-up spaces like NEON, rooms and stuff might be a bit better, but graphics are nothing with no good environment to actually enjoy them. You can play 10-15 year old games and you'd find the graphics there better, because this game is extremely bland and dull and the reflections or cool shadows don't make it amazing. If you like to explore this is definitely not for you, as all of the planets are the same 1:1. You visited earth because you're curious? Yeah one building in the middle of nowhere and you spawn right next to it. The quests are so bad... You land on a planet - loading screen, you walk into a building - loading screen, you accept a quest - you have to travel to another planet. You can't reach it, so you travel to a closer one (LOADING SCREEN), then you travel to the one you need (LOADING SCREEN), then you are in the space near the planet - the only way to enter it is through the map and a LOADING SCREEN, then you want to EXIT your ship - LOADING SCREEN, then you want to go to the guy and enter a building - LOADING SCREEN, then you go to the elevator - LOADING SCREEN, then you talk with the guy, he sends you somewhere else. The game doesn't feel CHALLENGING at all, 0 emotions on gun fights, theres no stake at all. Btw you can't just "equip" a couple of weapons NO, you just pause the game in the middle of a fight with an enemy in front of you, you take your time selecting another weapon - you go back to the fight, oh yeah you didn't have ammo for that one, let's pause the game in the middle of the fight again to go to the inventory, you found the right one nice. The game is very clunky, not a single drop of immersion at all. It's a game for explorers with nothing to explore after first couple of planets. All planets environments are bland and boring. Look at forests, environments in Kingdom Come Deliverance ; Red Dead Redemption 2 ; Death Stranding ; Starfield has simply nothing to show. This is in no way shape or form worth spending money on, not even on sale. Worth up to 8€ max. - I have no clue what the reviewers were playing when they rated this 9 or 10 or even a "CINAMATIC MASTERPIECE", because it looks like a game built on Roblox + good shadows as a mask for good graphics which don't matter if there's nothing cool to actually SEE in the game.

the bones of the game are ok but the story and variety are hugely lacking. the saying "a mile wide and an inch deep" begins to describe this game.
Holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. I tried. And I tried. Even AFTER all the updates (if you can call them that) this game is boring. To put it lightly. It is just a mess of loading screens and pressing buttons on a map. Even a game that came out IN 2016 as a complete disaster (iykyk) had better ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Spaceship travel than this ♥♥♥♥. Unfort i cant refund it anymore.
Wtf is this lmao, cant explore space because its a loading screen to each planet, cant fly from orbit to the planet because thats also a loading screen, every room in your ship is a loading screen, game is garbage lmfao.
Wasted potential unfortunately. The bones of an interesting world floundered by one note writing. An interesting concept of ship building ruined by everything being prefabricated. A fallout 4-like settlement system which can't function because storage containers have comically small carry weight limits. The gunplay is a passable. Melee combat should've been scrapped if they weren't going to develop it. I wish this game were better.
genuine ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, anyone who says this game is in the least bit playable is delusional. If you think ES6 is going to be any different, I have some bad news for you LOL.
I wanted so badly to enjoy this game, but I can barely get past character creation before feeling done and turning it off. On launch, it came with some of the new hardware I got for my PC, so it was technically free. I thought that, surely, it would run okay on hardware that it came with. It didn't. It crashed repeatedly before even getting to character creation. I tried messing with every setting I could think of, and had my partner, who is a software engineer and builds computers for fun, try to fix it. Nothing worked. I was able to get to character creation once, but was so done that I just uninstalled it. I tried playing it again this past week in 2026, and I still don't enjoy it. The first little bit of the game is boring, the dialogue feels like talking to robots, and the first actual quest you get doesn't make any sense. Don't get me started on the totally dead looking eyes of the NPCs and how kind of awful the animation is. I was really looking forward to this game, as someone who has played all of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games and enjoyed them. But this isn't it, especially when you compare it to games that came out around the same time, such as Baldur's Gate 3 and Rogue Trader.
boring game Bethesda is out of touch with modern gaming.
so woke the violence and guns feels out of place
