Best online space combat sim
The campaign is like classic Wing Commander but with nostalgia. for >5 bucks when its on promotional sale price its worthy. not sure id pay full price. if you like it look of it don't let the reviews put you off. I have waited patiently since the first movie to fly the damn X Wing in a virtual reality. This does the job nicely. throws you straight into the action and provides fair battles and goals. It is a spectacle for the senses.
Looks amazing and sharp in VR.
eh game get it on sale
Long live the empire
Wish it was more in depth like the older Xwing/TIE FIghter games on PC only, but this is a decent compromise of console controls and more indepth controls on the pc. Graphics are crazy. Set in the OG trilogy era. Gamepad controls are pretty decent. Wish it had a mission editor and more single player missions and stuff. I understand what is here is only maybe 10 hours at best for the story content. Game on sale for 4 dollars is completely worth it though. Thanks for the effort anyway. For anyone wondering to get this game on a sale, its worth it. Similiar to Ace Combat is the best I could say.
5/10 If this game wasn't so multiplayer focused it could've been the greatest space pilot game out there. However, they chose what they chose. The single player campaign is actually incredible and super fun, but it is also painfully short. If it is on sale, go for it. If not, don't waste your money.
Very fun. I finished the story in a day due to how much fun I was having
95% love this game. The last 5% I took off for obvious DEI garbage and making me play the Empire in the story mode. I wish I didn't have to play the Empire, I don't even like to pretend to commit evil acts like blowing up innocent civilian transports, but it's a minor drawback compared to the rest of the game. I am kicking myself for not buying it years ago. I can't believe I got this game for less then $5!!! Playing with my HOTAS setup makes me feel like I'm actually in the fight.
