le jeu ne fonctionait pas sur steam alors je l'ai acheté sur electronic arts et la ca marche !!
I don't feel there's much skill or tactics to the gameplay. First, it's hard to get situational awareness because all you have is a radar that shows angle, but not distance, and no other information. Targets far away, that are not a threat, are shown with equal prominence to those that are actually shooting at you. Other games, such as the X series, do this better by at least including distance and target type. So most of the time you are spinning in circles just trying to figure out what to shoot at next, and guessing wrong. Power management was meant to add a strategic layer to the game, but is overdone and artificial. Putting power to shields seems to regenerate twice as fast, at a negligible cost to speed. Similar with weapons. Same with balancing shields. So you're forced to constantly twiddle these in a fight, to the degree that it becomes busywork rather than some kind of tactical decision. The scenarios are ridiculous: you shoot down enemy ships in just a few hits for some reason, while enemies take 10X that to kill you, plus you can just repair anyway. Just you and a dozen allies, mostly you, are able to take out capital ships. Why would the Empire even bother building capital ships if they are that easy to destroy? The levels are mostly empty space, so little to break up the game just being spinning in circles and twiddling with power management to spin faster. The only good thing I can really say about the game is they did a good job of the keybind mapping screen, so if you want to play with a joystick you can.
Nice storyline...filling in some of the post-Endor Imperial / New Rebublic characters & their experiences. Customisation is great...sometimes game does't credit XP / Glory points for some reason which means replays...can be annoying on difficult missions. Crossplay seemingly has never worked so poor for a game of this size...have to set up a custom game w/a passcode & then friends can search for you. Nice looking game & hey its Star Wars so got our vote!
this review is up to change, but for now i hate it the game is broken and will not launch at all. i know this is a problem for more than just me but i didn't know this at the time that i bought this game and only found out when it wouldn't launch. i have wanted this game for about 3.5 years and had just found the time to actually go out and get it. i was very disappointed. EA fix the damn game!!!!!!! >:(
genial
