I really wanted to enjoy it, but the bugs where your companions get stuck in some invisible wall and that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flying ♥♥♥♥ with the lazer beam just wasn't it for me. I'll accept the fact I maybe didn't have the skill for this game.

К счастью с этим вам поможет данное руководство https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=829915233 Игровые механики очень удивили, в игре есть возможность управлять своим отрядом, куда встать отдельному бойцу, за какую турель сесть, что взломать, можно приказать отряду перегруппироваться для защиты командира, перейти в наступление, защищать определенную зону. Понравилась система вооружения, по сути у вас всего 1 автомат, но его можно менять при помощи модификаций, автомат - снайперская винтовка - гранатомет. Интерфейс информативный, особо лишнего не заметил. Приятно слушать диалоги персонажей и их поведение, благодаря всему этому они ощущаются живыми. Есть один неприятный баг, не знаю есть ли он в игре если не ставить мод на графику, но с модом нельзя переключаться между окнами на alt + tab, иначе все текстуры в игре пойдут по жопе, а так рекомендую.

Another nostalgic star wars game from the early 2000's.. although the visuals look dated, it adds to the overall vibe of the game. Republic Commandos has plenty atmosphere, grit, and examples of how the clones are more than just soldiers.

Extremely fun, wish they did a remake

I missed out as a kid. I never knew this game existed until the beginning of the next year. Now I'm on playthrough 4. Gonna go to the library tomorrow after work and see if I can find more of the books! I think lowkey might have found a new pet interest!

[Linux:] works flawlessly, thanks VALVE! Launched immediately and was able to pick up exactly where I left off YEARS ago. [Windows]: One of my favorite games in the star wars franchise. Brutally unforgiving and so much fun to play when it is not abandonware. This is abandonware. I played it so many hours on a disc, but the fact that they just dumped it and went "LOL figure it out" for being able to actually play it is shameful. I've tried all the hacks and "fixes" I can think of and find, but the ultimate result is that it shows the splash screen and then immediately crashes. And what really gets me is that when the community tried to remaster it: Disney threatened basically a firing squad for having the GAUL to do something that the community has been asking for for years but Disney refuses to do. It would take maybe an hour to fix the issues the game has with it not being 2005 anymore, but that seems to be too big an ask.

Still holds up 20 years later, but you will need to open Guides and download few fixes, because the game is broken for modern systems! Finally managed to finish the story, just so you know you'll be left on a cliffhanger, because sadly they never releases a sequel

Very good game. I've had it since I was pretty young and I never got around to beating it until now. It's short, and sweet. Yet I find myself wanting more. It really is a shame the sequel was cancelled a long time ago, and there's pretty much no hope of a game like this ever being made again. With a few console commands I managed to get it running on widescreen on my monitor's native resolution. And a confortable mouse sensitivity for gameplay. I've had some sporadic stutters, and one freeze that made me have to shut it down with the task manager. Besides that, ran like a charm.
