StarCraft but i can't aim edition

8/10 with 5 being passing its very fun im praying for ns3 since subnautica namedropped the kharaa. while some players are toxic, theyre mostly drunken idiots who are trying to relive the glorydays of this old game so they cant really ragebait me. most players are happy for the resurgence from subnautica 2. my only issue is that getting into the servers is a pain. theres only two types of servers, those that are completely empty and those that are full. theres only ~80 players left and theyre not evenly spread out so you have to pray they have an open slot for you.

It's a good game, assuming you can find a lobby with a decent amount of real people that don't treat this game like an actual war with military strategy. Wish I had played this during it's prime when more than 12 people played at a time.

Natural Selection 2 is the kind of game that makes you question why the industry keeps making the same shooter every year. One bloke plays Commander, desperately trying to hold the team together like an exhausted manager during a night shift, while everyone else either follows orders or wanders off to become alien food. It's StarCraft meets Counter-Strike, except everyone is stressed, resources are scarce and a giant alien spider is sprinting towards you at Mach 3. The atmosphere is incredible, teamwork actually matters and winning feels earned instead of handed out like participation trophies. Unfortunately, being brilliant and niche is a dangerous combination. Finding populated servers can sometimes feel like searching for Bigfoot. But when a match clicks? Few multiplayer experiences come close. Natural Selection 2 didn't deserve to become a hidden gem. It deserved an entire genre built around it.

MAKE NATURAL SELECTION 3 AND MY LIFE IS YOURS

I haven't been able to play this game in forever since this game is heavy on CPU usage, I think it's good but honestly Tremulous and Unvanquished does the same concept except way better (for starters, there isn't a commander system and multiple people can take on building structures), only issue with both though is that barely any people play Trem or Unvq so Natural Selection 2 might still be pleasing to some people, 100+ people still play this game daily as per SteamDB. NS2 is 5 euros and goes on sale for 1 euro, if you like multiplayer shooter games I'd suggest to give this a try
