Well done Xcom Star Wars Mash up. Characters are well written and the story is actually pretty good

This is some of the best Star Wars content to come out since the Cal Kestis series. It's very Star wars and enjoyable to anyone who's been a fan. I understand that turn based games aren't for everyone, but this would be a great introduction into one if you haven't played, or are looking to give one another chance. To sum it up: The story fits well into the star wars universe, the characters are loveable in their very own way. This sets up a new window for more star wars content to be told and lots of possibilities for future dlc or additions to tv shows. The mechanics of these types of games require critical thinking, which can make you feel the weight behind a good/bad decision. Lastly, please support the devs behind this one if you are reading this and end up liking the game. They deserve every bit of support after putting out a banger like this.

I loved Star Wars Zero Company. The core gameplay is a ton of fun, with so many different options and approaches for completing each mission that I was constantly experimenting with new strategies. I also really enjoyed all of the Star Wars universe and character tie-ins. They felt true to the setting without getting in the way of the story the game itself wanted to tell. My biggest complaints are mostly quality-of-life issues. Animations really need to be skippable or have an accelerated speed option. There are too many turns where you end up sitting and waiting for what feels like minutes while 12 enemies individually move around the map without doing anything particularly meaningful. The camera can also get stuck at some really awkward angles. More than once I found myself staring at the side of a building with no control over the camera while enemy reinforcements arrived somewhere else on the map and took their positions. Those frustrations aside, I would recommend this game 10 out of 10 times to anyone who enjoys tactics games. I would also recommend it to Star Wars fans who are mostly here for the lore and worldbuilding, since the lower difficulty settings make the game very approachable even if you are not normally into the genre. I really hope the furloughed employees are brought back and the team gets the opportunity to make DLC, because I would happily play more of this. More importantly, I hope they get the chance to make a sequel. I cannot wait to see what this studio does next.

Fun gameplay, solid story, actually fantastic and funny character writing. Runa is best girl.

Arguably the best Star Wars game in a long time. A turn based tactical game with fantastic voice acting and breathtaking cinematics. Excellent customization choices.

Phenomenal game. Great story. Very enjoyable gameplay and tactical decisions. Few minor bugs/lagging animations & soft locks that made me restart.

Great story! My kind of game. A great turn based RPG. If you like Gears Tactics or XCOM , you'll love this!
