... Worse Star Wars game I've played since Yoda Stories hands down.. Even Yoda respected me as a Padawan on those endless fetch quests where Outlaws doesn't..
THIS GAME CRASHES ALL THE TIME.
The review bomb on this game was CRAZY I bought this July 2026, first time playing it and I had a great expierence with the story and gameplay. The world building of this game are the best part in my opinion, Rather than being known and common planets (bar Tatooine) we get introduced to a great selection of planets with vast amount of area covered to explore and complete tasks. Visually it is fantastic, when completing the Nix collections you get a cinematic outlook at the worlds which was beautiful and that carries through the gameplay. Kay and Nix are great new characters, its nice to see an underworld newbie interact with the top syndicate leads and have a competitive story with each of them and learning to actually balance favour between them whilst also being able to optionally have beef with some of them, its a great idea and it actually makes the games "thief" driven motive playable, with the sneaking and stealing it is great, Nix being a huge role in the gameplay is also just great, I found myself never really using my utility but utilising Nix and every chance. Really great idea, this would be an unreal move for BD-1 in the Cal Kestis games. The actual story felt predictable but woah that changed drastically for at the end, I wont spoil but what you think will happen happens but MORE. Some times keeping the core basic is great but Outlaws amplified it completely with the additional strings to the characters at the end. You are not a Star Wars fan if you didnt enjoy the Lore sections of this game, the amount of detail presented its like having wookieepedia in game, everything you meet, find and see gets logged with detail for you to learn about and explore, truely brilliant and unappreciated aspect of this game. I will say, I did have some technical issues maybe 4/5 times throughout my 50ish hours of playing, I crashed a couple and also had some ability problems, which OK fine we know the basis around how the game was rushed and forced out so the optimisation wasnt completed as they wanted it to be, but, It wasnt as aggressive in my experience as it was made out to be. - Optimisation should be priority 1 at all times, I will say, I played this game late so the improvements made will have been present so I dont doubt the reported issues were as bad as people said. So that does justify the annoyance from players. Alongside some other bugs that didnt impact my expierence but were obviously notable, ND-5 voicelines repeating when you finish the story / crossing over when you begin dialogue on ship. Losing reputation a couple times for "stealing" when not in NPC sight etc. And then something I do agree with, takedowns on stromtroopers shouldnt of been with punches to the bare hand ha. Sabacc and Space combat was a really nice feature for me, I enjoyed the challenge space combat brought, initially I wasnt a fan but then I had a play with my settings and got some upgrades and I started to grind the smuggling jobs on Khepi. Really enjoyed the DLCs with Lando and Hondo as well. For me this was an 8/10 baring in mind I paid £20 for the Gold edition not £95 which it would have been, but again when I consider pricing I dont think I wouldve been less favourable, I enjoyed it very very much.
Constantly Crashing. Not worth it at all.

Great game had lots of fun. Will come back and try the DLC
very open world, simply main quest, a lot of sides
Due to the rough launch of this Star Wars title, I wasnt quite sure if I really wanted to risk trying it out. * I am **very** glad I did! * Once you find settings that work for your rig the game just opens up, its the first open-world Star Wars game in a single-player setting. Im only 13 hours at the time of this writing, but oh my am I having a blast. The main character is really cool, she grows on you and also her pet Nyx. Being a gamer for 40 years, I can confidently say this title is worth the 70$ USD asking price and is a great game! Check it out! *Update* - I have now finished the main quest and many other side quests and can still confidently say, if you like Star Wars, you should totally play this game, its a blast and a really great Star Wars story!
good game
