Game is basically unplayable on a 4070ti. The textures are an absolute mess and the framerate is all over the place even after manually editing the config files - which you have to do, as there are some graphics settings that are not even provided to players in the UI.
It's rough, I wish I played it less so I could return. The person you get quests from was bugged, and standing right next to themselves. The story is so linear it doesn't seam like you have many choices. The world looks great, but is so empty since you can't interact with anyone.
10/10
I loved this game untill the mission where you lose all your gear and it's a stealth mission where being caught is fail. You have none of your tools or Nix to help. WTF is the point of building up your abilities and skills if you're just going to get a curveball like this that stops your progress? It's not fun, it's just annoying, especialy on a mission you can't skip because it's a storyline mission.
I got past prologue missions - and started enjoying the game, however it keeps crashing when I'm at Toshara city. Screen just goes black. Its a reproducible issue and i am not going to bother playing around with my graphics settings to try to improve the stability of the game at the risk of further damaging my rig. My rig is also quite new... 2-3 months old and I don't get the same issue with other graphics intensive games that I play. I am disappointed because just when the game started being interesting... this happens... unfortunately I will probably try to get a refund because of this. Honestly I can tell the team put in alot of work and love into this game.... just sad that its not well optimized.
This thing makes my PC sound like a jet fighter starting up and ready to take off... i SHOULD have learned my lesson regarding Ubislop games wrecking PCs YEARS ago but i guess i like to learn the hard way. so the game itself? so far the locations are well made as in typical Ubislop fashion THEY do make great maps however they tend to be lifeless! but its the DEI strong female characters that kept popping up like a sore thumb that pissed me off... like seriously? basically Disney Star Wars is what you are getting here.
The graphics are good, they do a good job with star wars environment. The game play is mostly stealth and it is mediocre for the most part. The biggest flaw for me is not the gameplay, it is the level design. The levels are absolutely horribly convoluted, even the outdoor ones. But the inside/city level design is atrocious. You have to spend lots of time looking for vents, figuring out how to go up a level, even looking at the map and spending a lot of time on the level is not much help it is needlessly time wasting and makes the gameplay extremely boring. It is a huge file and the only reason I have continued to play is because I spent so much time already and I know I will never install this again, it is well over 100gb so I am going to force myself to play as much as possible, but the level designers were really bad, I can tell they never play tested it.
