Star Wars Outlaws

The story and Kay Vess are a lot of fun – not the deepest narrative, but engaging enough to keep you hooked from start to finish. The open world is where the game truly delivers. Exploring the different planets feels great, and the atmosphere nails it – visually stunning and it genuinely feels like Star Wars through and through. No complaints at all. Everything comes together really well and the game never loses its momentum. If you're a Star Wars fan, this is an easy recommendation.

Never have i ever seen a game not wanting you to have FUN ever in it. Its insane!

Running this game at max settings and stuff looks like a potato. On top of that stutters way to much. even if you lower the graphics still is bad. and i know its not my rig. Bounced off this one near release for gameplay reasons. Heard it got patched up and checked it out again and I love it. The vibes are great and the characters are fun. Love exploring and shooting storm troopers.

It's meh. If you like Star Wars, then it is a recommend on sale, but otherwise you'll find better value elsewhere. Kay is an okay protagnist, though Disney and Ubisoft oddly decided to make her mostly naive throughout the playthrough. Constantly being betrayed and not seeing the backstabbing coming. The game also [spoiler] kills both main villains in a cutscene with 0 interaction from the main player. [/spoiler] The open world is typical Ubi-slop where it looks great, but lacks meaning to visit any of the places for an extended amount of time. I found myself fast traveling a lot after feeling how empty the planets are which really shows how short this game can be. My hours are a bit higher, but the main story is pretty short. There are some cool moments, [spoiler] such as the Rancor fight (and even that isn't spectacular), [/spoiler] but they are too far and between. Quests are mostly fetch quests and the syndicate system sounds cool, but ultimately fails to leave any lasting impressions. It mostly comes down to, do you want credits or to gain reputation for cosmetic rewards? I love Star Wars and the game is pretty faithful to the universe which is a big plus for SW nerds, but that's really the only saving grace for this game. Platforming/Parkour is very weak, gun play is weak, facial animations are weak, and the story is just very generic. It's not overly bad, but you won't leave this game blown away by any creativity or innovation. I hope there is a sequel only to see how a non-Jedi game can flourish, but with Ubi-slop. there is not high hopes a sequel improve anything. 6/10 - SW fan bias

It follows the typical Ubisoft open-world formula, but the Star Wars atmosphere and world design are excellent, maybe even the best so far. The story is decent, but if you are a Star Wars fan, I would definitely recommend giving this game a try. Exploring different planets and traveling through space is a lot of fun, especially when searching for loot and lore pieces. The graphics look great, although performance is not the best. I am aware of the game’s technical and gameplay issues at launch. It had a rough start, but it has improved a lot and is now a really good experience. It is especially fun to explore the “outlaw” side of Star Wars. Ever wondered what it feels like to step into Han Solo’s shoes?

This game didn't deserve the hate it got at launch. Unless all you want to do in the SW universe games is be a jedi, then you will love this game.

This game gets way too much hate for being ubislop. I hate their launcher as much as the next guy and i understand if you have reservations about installing another launcher but if you can get past that it's very enjoyable, not perfect but very enjoyable. A lot of the launch bugs and issues have been fixed. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but if you can grab it on sale for like $20 there's a lot to love esp if you're a star wars fan.
