Star Trek™ : 25th Anniversary

I love Those Old Scientists. I tried playing this as a kid in the 90's and was too dumb to get past the first mission. Its fun being able to Finnish it*. Surprised it has the crews actual voices and the shows authentic sounds. It is a point and click adventure game so I kept the steam walkthrough guide handy so I didn't spend all day guessing what was in the devs minds when it came to combining picked up objects. -but only after I stopped seeing the logical choices. (*I did skip the last battle as it was too difficult. on modern machines the enemy ships lock on to you instantly since your out numbered) [[BE AWARE - it is running on DOXbox emulation. some of the games config files may need to be edited to get it to work, my game crashed when i tried to move my mouse setting async to = 0 from 1 resolved it, setting compatibility mode made the game not start.]]

A fun game that takes me back to the old DOS days.

All I can say is, they don't make em like the used ta! Excellent adventure game from a considerably different era. You HAVE to read the manual which is uploaded on steam. In it is the star chart for destinations (early denuvo) and all the keyboard shortcuts for space combat, without which you will struggle (hit the console button next to number 1 for full reverse and pump torpedoes away). Scan, look, talk to, everything and everyone. Access the ships computer and learn, often needed to progress. Excellent voice acting from the original cast, this is a much deeper game than people think. Buy Judgement Rites after for an even better experience. 9/10

Timeless Game that I still enjoy playing today.

The final chapters of the original crew in this and Judgement Rights are awesome. A mix of everything all the while keeping the characters rich and as we knew them.

great game from the 90s

The closest thing to a fourth season of Star Trek. Interesting locations, puzzles, and alien races, plus excellent voice acting from the original cast! A nostalgic blast.
