Star Trek™ : 25th Anniversary

This, and its sequel "Judgment Rites", are must-play games for any fan of the original television series. The last times you can hear the original cast all together. Personally, I have fond memories playing the floppy disk version on the family Macintosh LC III, around 1993 or 1994. It was magic back then, even without the voice acting (and extended final mission) included in this version. (The CD-ROM version.)

I played this on my ancient 2 Megabytes of RAM PC back in the day and playing it now was just a journey of nostalgia. It is not good in the visuals, combat, interface... okay everything, but I love Star Trek and enjoyed it.

An old classic game based on one of the most iconic shows of all time. Voice performances by all the principal actors, most of whom aren't with us anymore, make this game a sentimental treasure. The missions feel like episodes of the original show. Multiple possible solutions to the game's puzzles, with both good and bad outcomes, make for a lot more replay value than you would expect from the old point-and-click genre. Find a way to score 100% on all missions, or do a blooper run to finish a campaign with the lowest possible score. And if all that isn't enough, the game makes use of a three-dimensional space combat system that still holds up well today. The battles are often criticized for being too difficult, and the DOS era graphics are very dated, but this game is high-quality entertainment for fans and non-fans alike.

I love Star Trek, but the interface is so bad it feels insulting.

Such a classic! I love playing all the new games and stuff but kicking it back to this game really hit me in my feels! If you're a Trekkie and a gamer I highly suggest giving this a try! For a history lesson in how far we've come in sci-fi gaming, if nothing else.

A fun adventure game with a steep learning curve on the controls. Where it really shines is the ship-to-ship combat -- but you have to be really-good to make that feel legit! The entire TOS bridge crew reprise their roles, and serve up 8 standalone adventures in sequential order. It's an interactive 4th season for the show in digital form, and was more sleekly built on in the follow-up serialized game/season of 'Judgement Rites'. Battle enemies old & new -- while encountering familiar friends & foes, alike. See Kirk face off against enemies from his past, again...but first, or whatever.

This interface is atrocious.
