game looks like it wants to be powerwash simulator but fails miserably
not what I expected at all. THIS is not Powerwash and not even close either. I felt more annoyed than having fun.. to apply the masking tape feels annoying, sometimes you are able to skip this phase but then it feels like what is the point? I feel like the scaffolding are not designed well, 50% of the time I can not reach parts where I need to paint and need to move the whole thing around every time which is not fun. also few bugs in coop which makes it frustrating so I cannot leave a positive review here
I liked this game a lot when it came out. The only problem is, it's been almost a year and while there is some new content, they are "free paint" levels. I personally like the masking and following directions for what a client wants, so these levels are just annoying to me, especially when you cant even mask anything besides windows and the floor, which makes it very difficult to paint different parts of the object that you are painting without accidentally painting some other part that you have already painted. The final product of the "free paint" levels just look bad because of all the overspray and if you don't fully paint something and you are almost done painting that specific thing it fills it in with a random color if it is the last thing you are painting...normally not a problem but i painted the eyes last on the animal sculpture and that was not great. I have to give a thumbs down because of the lack of content that I would personally like.
I recommend only if you love Powerwash Sim and have already completed everything there is to do in it, but still want similar gameplay. It simply isn't as good, but it's also made by a small team and very cheap. I will say that a lot of the negative reviews for this are about the bridge level and the cherry picker, which were fixed at some point after release. Neither were a problem for me.
It's a fun game with a lot of potential. The masking off of sections adds to the game rather than the other similar games that's just point and spray the whole time. The newly added levels could do with allowing the masking of individual parts though while painting, to make painting the things easier. The "cow" statue for example you only mask off the floor, so trying to paint the different parts neatly is a nightmare.
it's lacking a lot of content and challenges, the career mode ended so quickly i wish they got more stuff to paint and more challenges and fun achievements
It's... fine. I'm marking this as "do not recommend" because, frankly, I don't think what's in the game is really worth it unless they revisit it and add more levels or expand the masking mechanic. The game sort of fits into the same niche as Powerwash Sim but with less complexity, less content, and less satisfaction. I went into the last few levels without knowing they were the last few, and was hugely disappointed to find that the game comes to an abrupt halt after some deeply unsatisfying "do whatever you want!" levels that make it difficult to actually do whatever you want. Essentially, the game has the bones of a good thing going. There's a masking mechanic to cover up some areas with tape and paper so that you don't get any stray paint on other surfaces, but it's restricted to the career mode and has predetermined spots to cover up, so you can't choose what you want to paint and what you want to cover - which is much, MUCH more frustrating on levels like the bridge and the sculptures, where you theoretically have free rein but in practice have to be super careful not to accidentally mess up spots you've already painted. There are different types of nozzles and painters, but only a few - three different painter tools and two nozzles each, with the difference in nozzles being big/small and the difference in painter tools being the default, one that's worse than the default, and one that's a slight upgrade over the default. I could see there being a more complex system where you could get different attachments, more precise nozzles for accurate spray, more range, less range but wider coverage, et cetera, but none of that gets explored. Essentially, this feels like the first third of a better game. The painting is fairly satisfying (but feels like it could use more progression), the jobs are decent (but there aren't very many), and the tools you unlock are helpful (but, again, would be better if there was more sense of progression). As is... I don't think I could recommend it unless you're getting it on sale or you're very desperate for a PWS-like quick fix.
This game was AMAZING for a cozy night in; when you just need to relax and unwind with some satisfying spray painting!
整体玩法偏向冲就完事模拟器,但是手感远远不如,且内容很少,还有不少bug,例如拉镜头、卡住无法操作、掉出地图等等,整体评价为创了点新等于没创的拙劣的模仿之作
i like this game because its like powerwash. i love the masking i love that you can be creative on how you can paint. but on to my dislikes, while i play the camera wants to jerk around and i have changed settings to try and fix it but nothing does. i turned the spray speed all the way down but yet it still would randomly jerk away from the place i was painting leaving the wall patchy and making me get frustrated. i cant play the game for more then 10 to 15 mins before i have to quit because i want it to be satisfying but it misses the mark. i wish there were a bit more color options and the batterys also didnt run out so fast. i also wish there were more small things to paint and the cow mission was just annoying. if these were able to be fixed i would love this game
