This is the kind of game that "really makes you feel" like you're ridiculously good at the game and I think that's really cool. Music and bosses are incredible, kind of everything about it is insanely good. good game- too violent though
One of the best dual stick roguelikes around. The re-release really pushed the variety and depth to another level. Super challenging but equally rewarding.
Game studders while full screen... many bosses are just so rough and rather than feeling like 'awww another one!' its 'nah fuq this'.

Unbelievably good game, just a complete joy to play start to finish. Gameplay is razor tight, finely crafted visuals, music is constantly a bop, a massive amount of variety, lots of unique characters, and the pinnacle of bullet hells. The game develops so far from an inital run to doing the most absolutely brutal superbosses it has to offer. It has unmatched gameplay, puzzles, a funny cat shopkeeper, minigames, and everything else you could ever ask for. Why are you not playing it yet?
If this ran on an actual arcade cabinet the console industry would be in shambles.
Класний рогаль. Булет-хел з купою приколів та секретів. Окремої похвали заслуговує прикольна музика в стилі чіптюн. Та і в цілому гра дуже добре передає 8-бітну епоху. Але основне це геймплей, і з ним все гуд. Особливо після перших 2-5 ранів, коли ти вже звикнеш до керування і місцевих ворогів та босів, і почнеш розуміти як і що тут працює. Боси жорсткі, їх доволі багато і у багатьох дуже цікаві патерни атак та поведінки. Мінусом можна записати такий собі мідгейм, коли ти намагаєшся пройти вже на тру кінцівку (хоч я й не певен чи раптом там ще не буде контенту після того рівня на котрому застряг), і фруструючи все лупаєш ту скалу. Але то в багатьох рогаліках так, і скоріш то проблема кривості моїх рук. Крш, любителям шутемапів та булет-хелів маст хев
Simply fantastic experience. If you love Binding of Isaac, Enter the Gungeon or any Touhou games, you will love the way it combines all of those things.
