Formerly known as Post Scriptum, Squad 44 is the most authentic WW2 first-person shooter, featuring 20 large-scale battlefields, upwards of 150 realistic WW2 weapons, and over 120 true-to-life vehicles. You must prioritize communication, coordination, and teamwork to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Experience real WW2 campaigns, such as the liberation of the Netherlands and the Battle of Normandy. The war stretched across farms, villages, and cities, and whether you’re jumping out of a plane, arriving by sea, or storming the battlefield in a tank, you’ll need to group up with your squad before taking on the enemy.
Fight as historic WW2 factions like the British 1st Airborne Division, the US 4th Infantry Division, and the French Army to take on the German Wehrmacht, the Waffen SS, and Fallschirmjägers. Other factions include the Australian Army, the Greek Royal Hellenic Army, the New Zealand Military Forces, the British Army, and the Polish Airborne Forces.
In Squad 44, teamwork is paramount to achieving victory. Enroll as a commander and order gun runs or artillery to support your team. Join the frontline as one of the many infantry roles. Run logistics and shape the battlefield with fortifications and emplacements. And keep everyone on the battlefield updated with our in-game voice chat. great and underrated game. some free weekends would increase the player base I guess which is the only critic there is for me.
the game is very good and fun to play, BUT, even with a good PC, it can still lag 30-50 FPS because of the games poor optimization and etc.
unspielbarer haufen schrott! Ein einziger server der voll ist (die anderen nur so mit 1-3 Spieler).... Und dann noch mit irgendeinem Modzwang, der Mod läd nicht runter!!!..... Ich würde es umtauschen wenn ich könnte..... aber leider zu lang her... ich finds schade das man spiele mittlerweile nurnoch mit High End grafikkarten und mind. 2000€ Gaming PC spielen kann

From my experience, honestly, it is a very good, demanding and interesting game that finally takes World War II very seriously and realistically. I have played many World War II games and Squad 44 is one of the best. The sounds and effects are definitely top-notch in this game. This game can give the feeling of being on the World War II battlefield, the sound of a diving Ju-87 bomber, shells bouncing off tank armor are so immersive. One of the best extensive vehicle gameplay ever with tons of real vehicles, tanks of various factions. Squad 44 gives the opportunity to take part in campaigns that are not very popular in games: Battle of France and Operation Mercury. It gives me unique and fun memories and moments, especially on the Battle of France maps like Dinant and Stonne. What’s really impressive and what I also really like is that during the early 1940 the game features only early-war vehicles, uniforms and equipment like anti-tank rifles and early SMGs. For example, the Germans are limited to early Panzers up to the Panzer IV, while rocket launchers and more advanced tanks like the Panther and Tiger appear only on late year maps. Squad 44 has great mods like Chapter Red with Eastern front and great dedicated community that helps in game. And this game gives the possibility to drive and fight with this mammoth French tank used by them in 1940 called Char B1 bis. The one with two cannons
