Sports Bar VR

I have no idea how this is still at very positive... * So, on my Quest 3 the ingame controller models have an extreme latency. It is NOT streaming latency cause when I open up Steam VR (which is also streamed) the game still renders in the background and I can see both the ingame controller render and the Steam VR controller rendering, with the latter performing completely normal while the ingame models lack behind my movement. * Related to the former, besides running at rock stable 90 every single object that moves (my hands, the ball, etc) has extreme ghosting behind it. * Even back on the Index I was really annoyed by the control scheme that is optimized for the way outdated 2016 Vive controllers. So I was not amused to find the same controller models / scheme still in place... * Related to the former, to move around with the Quest 3 controllers (and like every other controller with a thumbstick) you actually need to press in the stick and pull it forward, cause that works great on a Vive trackpad. So, this is like literally a game with nearly 1000 reviews on Steam and is also succesful on Meta and PSVR, but yet the devs can't be borthered to update their game once every five years or at all to update the control scheme and fix some new bugs?

Que pena que no dejen poner estrellas porque las ponía todas. Es una pasada, la verdad. La variedad de juegos de bar es increíble. Billar, dardos, skeeball, damas, ajedrez, hockey de mesa y algunos extras. El entorno te abducce hasta tal punto que parece que estás en un bar echándote un billar. También mola la mecánica de tickets, que conforme vas ganando en alguno de los juegos, te los dan para canjearlos en tu lobby por skins para los tacos de billar, sombreros... Simplemente increíble. Una pena que no haya tanta gente jugando a la vez. Merece la pena

Tried it on the HP Reverb G2 & it kinda works but not really. The control mechanism is too outdated and feels extremely cumbersome. Should have been updated to allow movement with smooth motion and WMR sticks but the game is stuck in the past with teleport & a combination of button presses to reposition oneself. With that said, the game offers the best air hockey vr version I've experienced so far. The dart game is pretty good and Skee ball is ok but what we all want to play is pool and with the controls stuck on teleportation methods & Vive focused controls it makes it a frustrating experience. If you don't care for pool & just want a nice air hockey table to play on I say go for it on sale. The dart game is pretty good too & feels realistic. I recommend it if you have Vive controllers & don't mind the teleportation methods of the past. If you have WMR controllers, you can make it work but it feels cumbersome when trying to play pool. Since air hockey and darts is more simplistic it may not bother you as much. Personally I sought a refund because I wanted it for pool & it just feels too awkward for me.

The game has good potential but it's pretty much dead, multiplayer is completely empty.

I would avoid this one now. I purchased this way back in 2017 and it was fun. Went on again today (2023) and OMG the bugs. The Ai is supposed to be level 1 yet plays like a level 10 (I got up to a higher level AI through the once excellent progression system back in 2017); the game makes up 8 ball pool rules as it goes along; balls disappear off the table; the AI takes too many turns (cheating). Its just a mess now. It wasnt like this a few years back.

This game is absolutely terrible. The pool was almost acceptable, but the air hockey and darts are too laggy to be worth your time. The darts lag means even consistent throwing technique results in wildly different results. You can't move the air hockey paddle anywhere close to as fast as you can actually move, but the AI sure can! Garbage game.
