A real labor of love. It might not have the best physics (I'm not sure, but I don't think it's quite as accurate as Virtual Pool or ShootersPool), but they are good enough for a ~400 Fargo player like me to not get too mad about it, and the UX and gameplay diversity are top notch. Devs are super friendly responsive and helpful and meaningful free updates are frequent even though the game has been out for many years. An easy "strong recommend" at full price.
A great pool & snooker game with a relaxing atmosphere and a pretty catchy soundtrack! This is far from a hardcore sim like Shooters or Virtual Pool 4, but you do get a nice selection of different modes and AI opponents plus multiplayer! the game has a great relaxing atmosphere and reminds me of those old web games of the 2000s! plus the character designs can be a a bit funny, which adds to the charm! If you want a relaxing pool game to de-stress with? this is a great choice!
Cue Club 2: Pool & Snooker is a detailed cue sports simulation developed and published by Bulldog Interactive that aims to translate the precision, strategy, and quiet tension of real-world pool and snooker into a digital format. From the moment you begin playing, it becomes clear that the game’s primary focus is authenticity rather than flashy presentation. It is built for players who appreciate the subtleties of cue control, table positioning, and tactical shot selection, offering an experience that respects the traditions of billiards while remaining accessible enough for newcomers willing to learn. The heart of Cue Club 2 lies in its physics system, which governs how balls react to spin, speed, angles, and collisions. Shots feel weighty and deliberate, rewarding careful planning rather than rushed decisions. Whether you are lining up a straightforward pot or attempting a complex safety play, the game emphasizes accuracy and foresight, closely mirroring the mental process of playing at a real table. This sense of realism is reinforced by the variety of cue sports included, with multiple forms of pool and snooker available, each adhering to their own rule sets and pacing. The slower, more methodical rhythm of snooker contrasts nicely with faster pool variants, giving players meaningful choices in how they want to engage with the game. Single-player content offers a surprising amount of depth. The bar challenge mode functions as a loose progression system, pitting you against a wide range of AI opponents with differing skill levels and personalities. These matches gradually increase in difficulty, pushing you to refine your technique and understand positioning, break strategies, and defensive play. The AI generally feels fair and consistent, capable of punishing mistakes without feeling artificially unbeatable. Practice modes and quick matches are also available, making it easy to experiment with shots or enjoy short sessions without committing to a longer challenge structure. One of the game’s strongest features is its extensive customization. Players can adjust rule sets, table conditions, and match formats to a remarkable degree, tailoring the experience to closely resemble their preferred real-world play style. Visual perspectives can be switched between a clean top-down 2D view, ideal for precision and planning, and a fully rendered 3D view that enhances immersion and spatial awareness. Equipment customization, including cues, tables, and ball sets, adds a personal touch without straying into unnecessary complexity, reinforcing the sense that this is a simulation designed by people who genuinely understand cue sports. Multiplayer further expands the game’s appeal, particularly for local play. Matches with friends feel competitive and engaging, benefiting from the same solid physics and rule customization found in single-player modes. The ability to spectate games or review shots adds a communal, almost club-like atmosphere, fitting perfectly with the game’s theme. Features such as leaderboards, achievements, and a trophy room provide additional incentives for long-term play, encouraging players to improve their skills and chase mastery rather than simple completion. That said, Cue Club 2 is unapologetically niche. Its presentation, while clean and functional, lacks the polish and visual spectacle seen in modern sports titles, and the interface can feel utilitarian at times. Players unfamiliar with or uninterested in billiards may struggle to find lasting enjoyment, as the game offers little in the way of narrative framing or dramatic flair. Additionally, while the physics are impressive, purists may still notice occasional discrepancies compared to real-world behavior, reminding players that this is ultimately a simulation rather than a perfect replica. Overall, Cue Club 2: Pool & Snooker stands as a robust and respectful interpretation of cue sports on PC. It prioritizes realism, depth, and player control over spectacle, making it especially appealing to fans of pool and snooker who want a thoughtful, skill-driven experience. While its appeal may be limited to a specific audience, those willing to engage with its systems will find a rewarding and highly replayable simulation that captures the quiet intensity and satisfaction of sinking the perfect shot. Rating: 8/10
Totalmente recomendado. P.D. Me parece increíble que solo ocupe 128mb... Tremendo.
Game is very easy to play, the computer generated adversaries are a bit limited and their talent is very limited but its a fun game
Great collection of different snooker and pool games. The devs also continue to update and support the game which is great.
