A really fun point-and-click game with surprisingly lot to do and to mess with. I’ve also really enjoyed the witty dialogue and Nimby’s comments. Nice storytelling!

Recommended! Classic adventure style with nice puzzles, humor and vibe. I played the demo earlier and I'm glad i bought the full game.

Very fun point-and-click. Well designed such that the puzzles are not overly obtuse and some of them are really fantastic. The story while unfortunately cut slightly short is great with fun characters, appropriately dry humour and a really cool setting with diesel-powered coffee makers and world-domination seeking vacuum cleaners. Highly recommended if you have enjoyed classic games such as Grim Fandango, Sam & Max etc.!

I don't always review the games that I play. But when I do, I do it for Splittown. Here, read an AI slop review of this great adventure game first: Splittown made me dust off my imaginary floppies and warm up my "Use everything on everything" finger. It's the kind of adventure where you interrogate a streetlamp, combine two items that have no business knowing each other, and somehow feel clever instead of scolded. The jokes land with a dry thud - the good kind, like when your dad tells one and you hate yourself for laughing. Clues are there if you read, not skim (unlike you youngsters). A little moon-logic sneaks in, but that's tradition, like manual "feelies" and saving every five minutes. Verdict: a brisk, charming throwback that remembers puzzles are punchlines. 4 out of 5 "Use key on door," and I'll be damned if that isn't still satisfying. Does this review make sense for Splittown? Not really. But I did type in all the words manually from another computer (you can see from the lack of em-dashes), so that's worth something. Right? Surely that counts. But seriously, Splittown hearkens back to the good olden days of adventure games that I so fondly remember from my childhood. Back when me and my friends smelled like a mix of teenager sweat, piss, and various other bodily odours suitable for boys coming of age. It does scratch that particular itch for me and I wholly recommend it for all to play. Sure, there is some jank here and there, but that just makes it more wholesome. And you know what the best part is? You don't even have to save manually! Disclaimer: I was offered a free beer for posting this review. You simply must buy the game as I get a free beer from every purchase. That part may not have been in the original agreement, but I have taken it upon myself to alter it so that I too may directly benefit from the millions of units sold. It's a masterpiece! NIMBY!

I am a big fan of 90's style point and click adventure games. Splittown captures the spirit of these games perfectly. The game left me wanting more and I am curious if the developers are planning on a sequel, I sure hope so!
