About
In the 31st century, Space Trash Scavengers roam the cosmos, risking their lives for riches amongst the debris of an ancient war.

Build your Space Rig–a 3D raft with artificial gravity, power, trash processing, farming and defense. Craft the everyday food, fuel, weapons, ammo and space suit upgrades you’ll need to survive out here in the vastness of the cosmos. Automate your factory, using conveyor pads to deliver ingredients between your machines.
In space there is no up or down! Expand your base in any direction for the most efficient layout. Once you are equipped with the necessary fuel and a warp drive, you’ll be free to explore other sectors and continue your mission.

Circumnavigate tiny asteroids, fly between abandoned outposts, and board derelict spaceships as they orbit the system. Take caution, however, and remember to keep your jetpack fuel topped up–you’ll need it to get back to your Space Rig safe and sound!
Each salvage zone is a procedurally generated, dynamic, and ever-changing open world.

You are an employee for the galaxy’s number one waste disposal firm, stranded far away from home with a mission to clean the galaxy from the remains of a galactic war. Space trash is your main resource. Whether it is salvaged debris floating in space, advanced and rare tech from wrecked ships, or scavenged goods from asteroid surfaces, you’ll want to snatch it all up!
Recycle and refine it to produce valuable goods that will net a tidy sum on the Trash Exchange, and spend it to upgrade your kit. Use conveyor pads, splitters and more to automate as much or as little of the process as you want.

You’re not alone amid the wreckage. Alien bots patrol most sectors of space nowadays and they’ll be drawn to you as your operation expands.
You’ll need a steady aim, impeccable defenses, and an upgraded armory to protect your Space Rig from the dangers of these foes. Survival depends on your ability to defend yourself!

Kinda neat, fun for a bit, but yet another example of an early access product that went from version 0.5 directly to 1.0 when the devs got burnt out or realized the income was drying up.
Very unfinished and stale. And the AI trailer is pretty lazy. Seems like it had big plans but fell through. Wouldn't recommend and I usually love these types of games.
3 of my current gripes: The game pauses when you're in any menu, meaning you can't spend your time crafting the things you need by looking through different operational blocks like the blueprint shop. The game limits your flight of speed via your thrusters so it takes forever to get anywhere, oh but don't worry there's an upgrade you get at some point to almost double it. For some reason, when you're flying, you lose speed, yet the small and large objects that are floating in space don't lose velocity. Find a better way to balance your fuel than forcing a player to slow down. Overall, great idea but the design is absolutely terrible and generally misses the mark in multiple areas. You should consider learning more about general game design principles. Your gameplay loop needs significant improvement before this can be rated well. Not even close to being worth $20 in it's current state. I'd pay $5 for it though.
Fun enough at first but it gets really repetitive. Also, there are way too many types of guns that fill up the hot bar, making it so there isn't really room for anything else.
I was hoping the game would expand or add more things, but it's a pretty repetitive resource collection game, with somewhat clumsy maneuvering (it's easy to get stuck walking on conveyer belts, for example). Worlds and freighters may be generated, but they don't have enough variety to feel different. I think the game left early access a little too early.
This is a fun game but I do understand the comments that the game was pushed into 1.0 release because the Dev's were bored or realized they weren't going to make any more profit on it. I was trying to root for the game but the ending is very much a slap in the face. You can see there were much more ambitious plans being laid out before basically being pushed out and abandoned. Overall sort of a Minecraft in space. I know some of the physics don't make sense, like having are resistance in space or being able to use a vaccum cleaner in space. Meh, I'm ok with it. These kinds of soft physics are more intuitive for our primeape brains. It is grindy but that is what a Minecraft-like game is supposed to be. Just understand that this is an abandoned game so don't expect any fixes or QoL changes. You have to accept the game as is.
had so much promise, but it is very much just repeatitive with no real story or aim other than jump to the next zone
Looks like more than what it actually is. Needed more work.
This is a great game to just chill with, though I imagine if you up the difficulty and are just trying to get to the end it would be less chill. Me? I'm a hoarder. I am choosing the path that lets me gather as much as I can, and picking each spot clean, or near enough to clean. At time of review I am almost 100 hours, and I have yet to cross into the last two sectors. I have a few complaints, but nothing that is a big deal, and perhaps if I was moving forward they would be dealt with. One is availability of specific resources. If you are just trying to progress, I doubt it would be much of an issue, it just depends on your own personal goals. (I'm just saying, if the resources were given out a little better, it wouldn't hurt my feelings) I would complain about movement speed, but it's not that bad really, and as for my base, well, I built a Borg cube, and I just need to be happy with my life choices and think of it more as a stationary base until I am willing to give up the resources for top tier thrusters. The one thing that does really bug me is so many of the "farming" based asteroids are useless. Again, maybe there is a reason I will discover later, but you spend the time and fuel to travel to one only to discover that NO, there was nothing on the far side either. Rare resources is fine, no resources is just a waste of time. Hoping for better in the next sector, as there does seem to be a plan in progressing. Anyway, I am really enjoying this game. It's super chill but can keep you occupied, can be very satisfying, and is one I imagine I will come back to now and then when I want a more relaxing game.
I really like the mechanics and visuals in this game. Progression feels rewarding. It's worth your time to check it out if you enjoy space, crafting, and survival style games. Pro tip, don't give up on moving through space early if you run out of fuel for your backpack. It takes a bit, but it will recharge enough to slowly make your way back to base. Grapple gun, ftw.
