Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Sep 14 → 6.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Space Engineers 2 is currently a Playable Alpha In Active Development and already lets you begin building, surviving, and colonizing the Almagest System.
You arrive in the distant Almagest System on humanity’s first large-scale colonization mission. Your ship is damaged on entry, your tools are basic, and the planets below are beautiful but unforgiving. From here, everything you build is up to you.
Explore planets, moons, asteroid rings, and dense clusters. Mine resources, construct bases and starships, complete contracts, discover Datapads, trade, expand into new sectors, and push the frontier forward alone now, and later together with friends as co-op and large-scale multiplayer arrive over the course of Early Access.
Space Engineers 2 takes everything we have learned over the past 10 years and reimagines the space engineering experience with more depth, precision, and creative freedom than ever before. Powered by our new VRAGE3 engine, creation and destruction feel better than ever.
Build ships, stations, bases, and machines. Mine asteroids, reshape terrain, carve tunnels, damage structures, and experiment in a fully destructible sandbox where engineering decisions matter.
Whether you are a veteran Space Engineer or new to the series, Space Engineers 2 gives you a growing sandbox where your creativity can shine while the game continues expanding through Early Access.
Explore the next generation of construction with the 25 cm Unified Grid System. No more large-grid vs small-grid separation: blocks fit together seamlessly, making it easier to create detailed and functional builds.
Mounting point visualization, grid lines, improved controls, and more intuitive building tools help you design, adjust, and refine your creations with greater precision.
Space Engineers 2 introduces major building improvements such as Grid Undo, copy/paste, symmetry, blueprints, Projection Building, Backpack Building, Area Welding, refined CTRL controls, and improved rotation and zoom.
These tools are designed to make engineering smoother for both newcomers and experienced players, while preserving the depth and creativity that define Space Engineers.
Take your creations to new speeds with upgraded max velocity: characters up to 310 m/s and grids up to 300 m/s. Magboots and automatic jetpack activation help you stay in control while building, exploring, and moving around large constructions, platforms, ships, and asteroids.
Mechanical systems are also expanding. Rotors and Pistons are already available in the current Alpha, with wheels, hinges, warheads, and additional engineering systems planned for future updates.
We redesigned UI/UX to make building smoother and more intuitive for both newcomers and pros, giving more freedom to bring your intricate ideas to life. VRAGE3 is being optimized throughout Early Access; performance can vary by hardware, world size, and build complexity. As Early Access progresses, you’ll be able to build bigger ships, fly more of them, and enjoy epic destruction in a truly immersive ride.
The current Alpha already includes a real sandbox survival experience. Manage power, oxygen, hydrogen, and health. Mine resources, process materials, manufacture components, build production chains, complete contracts, earn credits, discover Datapads, and begin expanding colonization across the Almagest System.
These systems are playable today, but still growing. Long-term survival progression, deeper colonization, richer economy and contracts, NPCs, campaign content, co-op, multiplayer, and many additional systems will continue arriving during Early Access.
Enjoy the beauty of space, industrial designs, planetary landscapes, and destructive engineering with next-level realism. Space Engineers 2 introduces ray-traced global illumination, realistic shadows, a new skybox, tessellated voxel materials, parallax effects for armor, volumetric clouds, and many other visual improvements that bring depth and realism to every scene.
Bring your ideas to life and share your Blueprints and Worlds with the community through Steam Workshop integration. Explore a growing collection of creations from other players, find inspiration, and discover new engineering challenges.
Space Engineers 2 also supports advanced modding through the VRAGE3 Mod HUB and Mod Editor tools, giving creators more ways to shape the future of the game.
Space Engineers 2 is available now in Playable Alpha. By joining during Early Access, you can play the current version, share feedback, report issues, and help shape the game as it grows toward full release.

Keen software house is doing magic! SE2 is a masterpiece, yes the game has a long way to go, but even now in the alpha stages it has surprisingly lots of content. Highly recommend it to those who played SE1. Especially if you love building. The new grid system is amazing. At first the building may feel a bit off, but when it clicks wow. The amount of potential it has is just amazing. Graphics wise it is very stunning, amazing upgrade looking back on SE1. The world feels more immersive. The colony system is something we've all been waiting for. A purpose! For new players they added a new tutorial that is far better than the one of SE1. Space engineers 2 is now playable and functional. And offers a ton of QOL features. Side note: Keep in mind that you will need a decent PC or cloud gaming service to run the game. As the game is not yet very well optimized. This is bound to change in the future. Also is Multiplayer not yet in the game, this will be out later this year I believe.

Crafting leider etwas leichter als im alten Teil aber trotzdem schon echt gut!
For an Alpha release the game is really good. It has a ways to go but still very happy with the early results.
Still great just better
odporučam
Graphic are honestly really good, especially for an early access game. it runs pretty well and can handle large ships and high speed crashes, although there are some small bugs that may cause your pc to stutter or your frames to dip sometimes. however its early access so bugs are expected anyway. overall i think its worth to buy.
While you might think these system specs are abysmal, it really is more than enough to get in there and play around with it. 60 fps, Monitor limits fps, controllable and more than playable. 24 inch monitor, so don't bother with high resolutions you can't read the text for without a microscope, 1440x900, is more than enough to have an enjoyable experience, now only if the textures were actually optimized, it would do better.
I really want to like this game, but there are just those few things that are keeping me from enjoying it. Number one: character movement. Why does it feel like the engineer has a layer of grease stuck to the bottom of his boots? I try to take a single step, and just slide right back to where I was, making the jetpack a necessary form of movement. Next is the wheels. The controls are janky as all hell. What is wrong with using the space bar as the brake? I end up just sliding down slight inclines, and can not get moving as every time I try to go, it just applies the brakes, and why is there no steering setting per wheel??? I'll try again in a few updates but so far I am very disappointed. I know that this is a work in progress, but it keeps feeling like a step backwards from SE1
Im a veteran of Space Engineers 1 with more then 7000hrs. I got SE2 since day one, tried it out at each update, I knew the potential and always had high expectation for the game but its only since the last update (2.3) that I really started playing. It is missing the multiplayer aspect for me to be really into it, but SE2 is at a point where I really start to enjoy it, enough block to make nice design and the start of all the mechanic aspect of the game. I know its still kind of a niche game, but for a builder like me its already a great buy, and I am sure I will be spending even more hours then SE1 going forward... if I live long enough!
