Soulcaster: Part I & II

My soul left my body during the first boss fight but at least now I have more time to farm loot without distractions.

These games are really fun. I hope other games draw inspiration from them.

A fun and short game (both of them). It pulls from tower defense and action/rpg, but still feels different from both of them. It's a neat blend of ingredients. The challenge rooms (unlocked after the campaign) are interesting puzzles as well. Pick it up on a sale and have a good time! Also, plays perfectly on SteamDeck.

Po przejściu obu części, mogę powiedzieć, że to unikalna rozgrywka, którą polecam każdemu fanowi szybkiej akcji, tower defense i strategicznego myślenia. Tak, dokładnie tak ciekawe połączenie gatunków to Soulcaster 1 i 2.

Super fun, very original RPGish-RTSish-puzzleish game with a lot of flexibility in how you play. If you are like me, no matter how many times you play it you go back to maxing out Shaedu and trying to utilize him exclusively no matter the circumstance. Getting all the steam achievements seems to be broken for me, but I will live with it as this game is fantastic.

This is a unique game that the creator clearly put love into. I love the retro feel while still being innovative with gameplay and level design.
