Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

soul hackers 2 is a perfectly fine video game that unfortunately sits between flashier games in atlus' wide catalogue of games. it's hard to recommend because you could recommend the widely available persona games, smt5 vengeance or metaphor instead. i feel like if dungeons were a bit better visually (aesthetics) it would get it over the finish line because at its core it's not too different from those games, but it feels a bit unfortunate. the biggest shame is that ringo is a cool character and i wish she had a better game as a whole to star in. as it stands, still think it's a fine game but a hard recommendation a world crowded by other rpgs that are equally worth playing, if not more.
I can easily recommend this game: it is a classic Japanese Role-Playing Game (jrpg) with turn-based combat, sets in a beautiful neo-noir sci-fi world. there isn't a dating/life simulation aspect like in the Persona games, but for me it is a positive thing. I'm enjoying it much.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game gets a lot of flack it doesn't deserve. It's far from perfect but is exactly the niche spin off game SMT fans historically love. The gameplay is almost identical to SMT: Strange Journey and is one of the few modern games Atlus has developed that wasn't made for the general public. SMT fans complain about SMT being watered down to appease the general population and complain that the Original series is sidelined in favor of Persona, but this is why. If you want Sega to greenlight Atlus titles outside of Persona, then you need to support them when they do. Personally, buy it when it's on sale. There is no reason why it should ever being $60. But if you are a SMT fan, you'll definitely enjoy it for what it is.
Not a terrible game and manged to get the true ending but not a game I would recommend others to suffer through. Dungeon designs are pretty boring (Literally 3 of them being the same with different floors and teleporter puzzles which I did not have fun doing). Characters are okay I guess but honestly the only one I really liked was Saizo. Battle system can get annoying with everyone speaking and other issues.
A boring game with a boring storie
I actually went into this game rather hopeful about it, despite its mediocre reviews. After playing 50ish hours and getting all the achievements, I can confidently say that my hope was completely misplaced. Giving credit where credit is due, I actually really liked the characters, at least those in your party. Their interactions are all pretty solid, and each character has a decent amount of development. The optional bar hangout events are a fun little way to show off more of each character separate from the main story. Ringo is a really good protagonist, and I really appreciate the characterization that comes with her being an actual character rather than just a silent representation of the player (don’t get me wrong, I love the Persona protagonists but the change of pace is nice). The music is also really good (with one caveat that I’ll mention below). There are a lot of very solid songs, especially ones in the various shops you can visit. I also think that the stack system is an interesting idea, and definitely distinguishes itself from the “one more” system in Persona or the “press turn” system from Shin Megami Tensei. I also absolutely adore how in-depth fusions are in this game, and all the functions for searching made fusing demons incredibly convenient. And now for the bad. The story is very uninteresting, and at times felt like a genuine chore to get through. Nothing interesting or unique in the slightest. The dungeons are also pretty darn terrible. By themselves, they are *okay*. However, combined with the fact that each dungeon uses the same generic theme, they all feel exactly the same even though they were in different locations. I cannot emphasize enough just how much worse off the game is for this. I compare this aspect of the game to another one by Atlus; Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne. That game has a unique theme for most of its dungeons, and that gives each one a very unique identity. Every time you enter a new location, the music changes to reflect this, and it gives each area a very unique and distinct feeling. Now take Soul Hackers 2; where all of the game’s dungeons share the same song. Each location feels incredibly similar and it makes the entire experience of playing through the dungeons very tedious. The optional Soul Matrices (which are unfortunately required for all the achievements) are also very boring; they all take place in the same location with the same generic song and with no interesting or fun puzzles to make playing them feel interesting. Progressing in these Soul Matrices offers skills to choose from, but the game is easy enough where I never felt I needed them. I wanted to enjoy this game. I really, really did. But for a game made by Atlus, a studio whose games I always love, it all felt so generic. The pros were heavily outweighed by the cons, and the game was downright miserable at times. The only enjoyment I had while playing this game was from the TV I was watching at the time, and that is very disappointing to me. I wouldn’t recommend this one unless you 1: get it at an extremely low price on sale, and 2: are extremely bored with nothing better to play.
Missed opportunity for developers to make this game something more what it is now: repetitive, stale and somewhere boring in between. Not even Ringo could save the grace for me for this game. She was truly one of the best protagonist done by a long shot. Now the summoning demons for you battle seems very fun. Not only that but you also have a chance to be doctor Frankenstein and mix it up two separate entitities to make thirt one more gruesome and unique. Its really fun to tangle around in this mini section. Each of the demons have their unique distinct look and oh boy they are some juicy amazing weird mixtures. The artstyle is to be desired. Sheff kiss in creativity. The problem lies is that the combat have no middle ground. Either the game becomes to easy or to hard. To hard is on boss fights where developers put some cheasy moves like: basically every boss uses double move and thats not how you create challenge my friend. This felt like poor design excuse. Or like you have to grind your but to the blood in monotonous gameplay loop.
i actually quite like this game , Ringo is awesome but the rest of the cast is meh , game-play is not that great , story is good but rushed , only buy it when its on a sale not worth full price , but it got DRM: Denuvo and i hate always online DRM , so that would explain the negative Rating
