Sonic Forces

This game is a mediocre mess that becomes surprisingly fun with mods. (I'd recommend the overclocked sonic physics mod for your first playthrough!) The story isn't as bad as Colors, but it's nowhere near the highs of something like Adventure or Forces. The game is also far too short, despite its breathtaking level visuals. Infinite was cool. I'd only recommend buying this if you're comfortable playing with mods, but even then understand that you're in for a very short ride.

Has a lot of issues in the story department, but also a lot of potential. You could see that the developers were planning something larger and simply didn't have the time to make it work. If you can get past that and awful physics on Classic Sonic and the Avatar in 2D, it's an okay experience with a fun little character creator. But I'm also nostalgic for it as it was the first Sonic game I actually beat, so form your own opinion.

sonic x y/n is real best game ever

the game absolutely sucks. it costs 40 euros and on top of that it takes only 4 hours but it can also take 3 hours to finish i dont even know why i played this game for 17.5 hours please dont buy it and waste your 40 euros. the only reason why u would buy this game would be to laugh at infinite's edginess but thats the only reason u would buy that if u dont care about that just dont buy it

Я грав в цю гру дуже багато. Я пройшов її два рази. Мені вона досить сподобалась, але є багато мінусів. [spoiler] По - перше у цій грі не було Супер Соніка. По - друге ця гра досить коротка. По - третє сюжет не із цікавих. [/spoiler] Але гра прикольна і пограти 2 - 3 рази можна.

I said I’d never play this game. I played this as one of my friends and I felt like playing a bad Sonic game. Sonic Forces did not disappoint. The ridiculous writing, overly serious story, comically bad new villain, the weird avatar character, the rigid movement system for 2 out of the 3 playable characters, and the hundreds of cosmetic items; it’s just funny that this game was made, shipped, and priced at $60. Sonic Forces is not the worst Sonic game but it’s certainly down there. Also, beating the game takes a few hours but then fully completing it is 25 hours or so and it's one of the most repetitive things I've ever done in a video game. Literally everything in this game is done better in a previous entry in the series (I.e. wisp system, movement & momentum, side content, story, etc.). On the positive side, Forces does have some good music, a good final boss, performance is solid, it’s a fairly easy game despite the janky movement causing deaths, and it has a few solid levels to experience. Overall, it was okay at best and a dumpster fire in some ways. I don’t recommend unless you got $10 to waste during a Steam sale and want to laugh at Sonic & friends. 5.0/10.
