Every time I open this game I play for 2 minutes then I close it and download Veloren... 10/10 Would play again... for 2 minutes.

I’m giving this a thumbs up because, despite the controversy surrounding its release mechanics, there is still a beautiful, unique experience here if you approach it with the right mindset. If you judge Cube World solely as a traditional RPG where you endlessly stack stats linearly forever, you might get frustrated by the region-locked gear system. But if you look at it as a pure exploration and scouting game, the charm completely takes over. The voxel-based, procedurally generated worlds are vibrant, gorgeous, and incredibly fun to traverse. Scaling a massive mountain, hang-gliding across a valley, or sailing through uncharted waters feels fantastic. The action-based combat is snappy, active, and genuinely satisfying once you master the dodging and combo loops for your class. Taming pets to fight alongside you or act as mounts adds a great layer of classic RPG flavor, and diving into ancient dungeons with a buddy in co-op is where the game truly shines. It’s not perfect, and it requires you to shift your expectations about progression, but the sense of wonder and discovery in this infinite blocky frontier is absolutely worth experiencing.

Took the money and ran. Released it again on steam just to do it again. Now he wants to try it a third time in a new engine. If I could physically break his legs I would.
