As a Sonic fan I was really happy to finally play the older games, and this one is a fun, silly story that i liked. However, the gameplay itself was horrible. I don't like using controllers EVER, so I played with my keyboard, and it felt SO janky. The camera angle sometimes wouldn't turn enough so I could see what I was doing, my spin dash attack would sometimes hit the exact opposite of what I wanted it to, and the uncontrolled, constant speeding up was so annoying. In my opinion we need a remastered version of this game so people that prefer keyboard and mouse and play more comfortably. (I don't know how well the game would work WITH a controller however, and I liked the story, so I am still recommending this game).

it's a good game despite the sonic model change plus you get to play as metal sonic as a reward for 100% the game.

Youve prob heard this before and everywhere and you'll hear it again. Mod this to make it 1000 times better. But other than that a really good game and I like sonic. (Mod ts NOW)

The controls are terrible. The boss fights are such that you literally need a few brain cells to beat them. The game isn't intuitive; you constantly have to guess where to go. All of this sucks the fun out of the game, so I’m not even going to finish it—I’ll just move straight on to the second installment in the series.
