Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 28 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's a very good sniper game, just like its newer brother (SGWC II). However, I must admit that this version has more bugs than the newer version. But despite these bugs, the game is still recommended and worth playing. The game comes with many sniper rifles that are based on real life ones. I counted 18 different sniper rifles that i all have been unlocked. 14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

NOTA 7.5/10
I see myself as an elite sniper… until the wind decides otherwise . I love planning my perfect shots, even if it sometimes ends in a completely improvised escape . It’s beautiful, demanding, and above all, it reminds me that gravity always wins .
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is proof that more isn't necessarily better. This game gives the player 5 handcrafted missions, plus a training ground. The maps are open, so you decide how you go about completing your objectives. The game-play is solid and the perfect shot rewarding. The only downside I've seen in the negative reviews worth mentioning is not being able to save when you like, i.e. we've been given an auto-save. A little annoying, but it doesn't ruin the game. An easy 4/5

An older but fantastic sniping game. The Contracts version are better than the originals. It does away with all the pointless driving and moving bases.
Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts could have been a good title, but it is completely ruined by some major, unacceptable flaws. The good sides are first of all the detailed graphics and the locations of the missions which are open-world and give you the freedom to approach the missions as you prefer. This game wants to be a sniping simulation so the shooting is more refined and complex then in other sniper titles like Sniper Elite ( although in Sniper Elite its way more fun ). When you shoot, you have to keep in mind various parameters like the wind, distance, recoil etc.....which gives you a feeling of realism. The soundtrack is average, the story also. In this story Siberia is an independent country run by some dictator that has lots of mob and other criminal connections. The missions are mostly about eliminating the leadership of Siberia, stealing secret documents and various acts of sabotage. Doing missions is mostly entertaining but also incredibly frustrating for the reasons given below. The cutscenes are good. The game is in my opinion ruined by the fact that it doesn't have manual save game. Instead it adopts a completely obnoxious auto-save system. The biggest problem is that it basically saves only when you are not in combat or when you are not spotted ( when in stealth ). Sniper GW Contracts is a pretty challenging game on the normal difficulty. The enemies are mostly grouped together in large chunks, so when you start engaging them or as soon as they spot you, you cannot save until you liquidate them all. So for example you come to a location with perhaps 20 or 30 enemies.....and you concentrate and try hard for a long time....you eliminate 18 of them...but the 20'th enemy kills you....and bang...you have to do all over again. It was very frustrating, because in this game you have to move and advance very slowly and carefully, while crouching and proning.....and it takes a long time to kill enemies....and then you get killed and you lose for example 1 hour for nothing. So for each location full of enemies you will have to re-try many many times, and each mission has like 4,5 or 6 such zones! I don't like games that are disrespectful towards people's time. This game could be 10x better with manual save. Some people have told the developers this but developers doesn't seem to get it, and they even responded to a negative review telling that "the lack of manual save is not a strong enough reason to leave a negative review" - which also tells you something about the arrogance of it's developers. There is only 5 open-world zones. So the game it's actually short, so they went for the check point system in order to force the gamers to try and re-try the zones many times over, in order for the game to feel longer! It's a cheap strategy. The cheap strategy is evident also in the following facts: in each open-world zone in addition to 5-6 contracts/missions, you have pretty hard challenges that often contradict one another. For example: - finish all the contracts by killing only the main target and - kill 10 enemies with gas mine. So in order to complete all the challenges they force you to re-play each zone many times! You have 2 additional bounties in each zone but they give you only 1 per playthrough!! For the other you have to play again. It's ridiculous. The game has lots of weapons and gadgets, but they didn't explain some of the gadgets well IMO, I ended up using only a few of them ( knives, grenades, and health pack ), the others were too complicated (drones, turret, bouncing betty, decoy traps, warning devices). The mines were not very useful. You can buy lots of weapons but I didn't feel much difference when I bought a better Sniper, Rifle or Gun. The enemies sometimes had better gear! ( especially the heavy rifle carried by armored enemies ). There is a skill upgrade system with lots of skills to upgrade, but it is ruined by the fact that the best skills can be bought not only using money, but you have to spend tokens! And tokens can be obtained only by completely the very hard ( and not very practical ) challenges! This is a very silly skill upgrade system. I managed to complete every contract/mission but only like 30% of the challenges. On the site TrueAchievements you can clearly see that only 22% of the players managed to beat the game, which tells you a lot about the difficulty to complete the game in this conditions. I'm among those 22% but so many re-tries where needed and shouting aloud. Also the game has lots of bugs: sometime it crashes ( it happened to me after killing 20 enemies and BAM, you have to re-do all again, you can get stuck in terrain (re-load time!), some times the enemy snipers are invisible or underwater, sometimes the enemies fly around bugged.
