Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Aug 27 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Distance defines everything here. Not just as a mechanic, but as an identity. This isn’t close-quarters stealth with a scope on top. This is long-range execution where one bullet travels half a map before deciding your success. The maps are wider. Targets are farther. Mistakes are harder to fix. Sniping feels precise and deliberate. Wind, bullet drop, timing — every factor matters more when your target is a dot on the horizon. And when the shot lands? It feels earned. The game still allows multiple approaches. Silent ghost. Careful planner. Or controlled chaos when things inevitably go wrong. But the core remains clear: patience beats aggression. Gadgets and upgrades expand your options, but they don’t replace discipline. If anything, they punish overconfidence harder. Some missions blur together. The structure can feel repetitive. But the moment-to-moment execution still carries weight. • I lined up the shot → missed by inches. • I adjusted → the distance disappeared. • I rushed → the mission collapsed. Contracts 2 doesn’t reinvent the formula. It refines it by pushing scale. Bigger maps. Longer shots. Higher expectations. By the end, I didn’t feel faster. I felt more patient. If you love tactical shooters where precision, timing, and control matter more than reflex — this one doubles down on its identity. 8/10 – The trigger is instant. The decision isn’t.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

9 hours, but I've done all the missions except the 2 extra. Best sniper game i've ever experienced, great for people new or experienced.
_____________8__88_____8 ____________88_8__8_____8 ___________888_____88___88888 __________8888______88_8____88 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______8_______8 _________8888_____8_______8 __________88888____8______8 ___________8888888______8 __888_________88888_8 8888888________88_____ _8888888_______8_____ __888888_______88_____ ___88_____8_____8_____ ____8______8____8_____8_88 _______8888_8__88_8_88888 _____888888_8_88__8888888 ____8888888__88______88888 ____88888_____8_________888 ____88_________8__________8 _____8_________8_____ _______________8_____ ____________8_8_____ _____________88_8_____ ______________88_____ ______________8_____

I have not played much of this game, but I can already confidently say that this game is somehow worse in most ways than Contracts 1. 1: The saving of the game is even less understandble and usable than in Contracts 1: The checkpoints trigger on certain sections of the map when you approach that area for the first time but then never again. This makes it difficult to save your progress, as you have to progress through an entire area in order to hit a LIMITED TIME USE save point just to save your game. There are of course timed automatic checkpoint saves, but there is no way to tell what the timed interval is for the checkpoints, so it's difficult to plan around them. In short; you have no way to effectively save your game except by continuing to play the game or restarting to the last saved game. Either way this can waste your time or delete your progress. (In the previous game, each area checkpoint would trigger every single time the area was entered, as long as the player wasn't in combat. This made it like a physical save point area, which could be effectively used to save the game.) 2: Overbearing hand holding / forced customization: There is no way to skip or disable tutorials. I can understand the first training mission as part of story building and what not, but it shouldn't be required. Especially if the hardest difficulty is selected. You are forced to spend the first contract points from the tutorial mission to buy a specific upgrade. This sucks because I would have much rather picked a different upgrade from the other skill trees, since the skill you are forced to buy is basically useless if you have a brain and eyballs. You can't split up certain controls into multiple keys: "use/interact/hack" all MUST use the same key and this cannot be changed. 3: Not enough game settings: There is no way to set maximum or minimum FPS. You can turn on or off anti aliasing, that's it. FOV slider's highest setting is 80 degrees. (personal preference, I like FOV higher than 90 degrees) 4: Point and click adventure game: Sniping from long ranges is cool and satisfying, HOWEVER, combined with not being able to save the game reliably and not being able to physically interact with certain targets depending on what the mission says you have to do gets annoying really quickly. Contracts 1 did this much better; you could either go long sniper mode using lures and gadgets like drones to scout, or go Splinter Cell style sneaky and crawl around and silently evaporate the targets without anyone even knowing what happened. Now you can just blindly obliterate separate areas of enemies before getting to the sniper perch to dispatch your target, because no one is able to radio in for reinforcements from other areas. In Contracts 1 you could alert an area and after enough time other areas would also get alerted and basically turn the mission into a massive shootout, which was fun in its own way. 5: Raven is still an idiot: In Contracts 1 he at least had a personality and didn't like that he was being left out on the why part of the contracts. Now he's just the average American patriotic sniper man in the sniper game. 6: Strange enemy AI: (on deadeye difficulty, I haven't played the lower difficulties) > Miss shot near enemy: enemy runs away at full speed, 3 seconds later, entire area instantly knows where you are and is on red alert. >50% chance for an alerted enemy to throw a grenade in your direction when first alerted, even if you are on the opposite side of the map and could never be reached by anything except a sniper enemy. >Certain lured enemies or scripted pathing events for enemies will sometimes ignore world events or noises that lure can and will lure otherwise idle nearby enemies. (this can make certain multiple chained lurings impossible or very unpredictable) 7: Starting silenced pistol cannot one shot headshot at any range further than 6 meters: It does not matter if an enemy has a helmet on or not, the starting pistol simply does not deal enough damage to kill at ranges longer than 6 meters, making it less useful than the throwing knives, unless you have to dispatch multiple enemies standing close together. I'm overall sad that it's not actually a sequel to Contracts 1, but more like a sniping spin off game with even more minimalistic menus and clunkier controls.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 feels like the series finally refining what it started in Contracts 1, but still not quite breaking out of its formula. It’s a more polished and improved version of the same idea, just not something radically different. The story is still very minimal and mostly just there to connect missions, nothing really memorable. Sniping is again the main highlight. It’s very well done, with long-range engagements feeling more satisfying and precise than ever. The extreme-distance shots especially stand out and make the game feel more unique compared to other shooters. Stealth is solid and works well, but like the previous game, it’s not always strictly required since you can often approach situations in multiple ways. The contracts and mission structure are still fairly simple and can feel repetitive after a while, but they are more refined than in the first Contracts game. Gunplay is good but still not really groundbreaking for its release time. It feels familiar if you’ve played modern tactical shooters, just slightly more focused on sniping. The AI is decent but still has moments where it feels inconsistent or overly aware of your position, even when you think you’re hidden. Graphics are very good and probably one of the strongest improvements over the previous entry. Environments look more detailed and the overall presentation is cleaner and more modern. Maps are well designed and support long-range gameplay really well, which is exactly what the game is going for. Loadout and weapon customization is again a highlight, with satisfying upgrades and long-range tools that actually feel meaningful. One thing I really don’t like is that the game still leans into the “one-man army” design. It often feels like you’re doing everything alone in situations where a more tactical team-based approach would make more sense. The best part of the game is still the sniping system and long-distance shots. The worst part is the repetitive mission structure that doesn’t evolve much over time. Overall, it’s a clear improvement over Contracts 1, but still very much stuck in the same formula. 6.5/10
game wouldn't load tried to look for multiple fixes but nothing worked it would freeze when loading in
