Snapshot is the tale of a lone robot lost in an abandoned world. Armed with only his trusty camera, Pic sets forth on his great adventure. A camera might not seem like enough for a puzzle platforming adventure, but this camera is different from most: It has the ability to capture and remove from the world the very objects that it...

i played this when i was little with my big brother i loved it. and after revisiting it, it filled me with happiness. it's just a really nice and chill game, so if you're in that mood, than please buy this game
I played the whole game and enjoyed it very much. I especially liked the gallery objects, which made every level more interesting, since you have to use the mechanics in special ways. Also, the "game feel" and controls were smooth, once you get used to it (using keyboards and mouse simultanously). If you're into puzzle games, or simply do puzzles for the fun of it, I can recommend this game.
A fun, creative platformer that could have benefited from some serious polish. There are very few games that have driven me to rage quit, and this happens to be one of them. Most of the levels are clever and fun to solve, but the achievements/collectibles are just agonizing to collect in later levels. I feel like this is a game that falls into the "plays like a precision platformer, but doesn't control like one." Very floaty. There aren't any checkpoints, and so you end up spending 3+ minutes getting to a collectible, only to die immediately because the margin for error is so small. You know exactly what to do, and how to do it, you just can't execute it, and it doesn't feel like a player failing. However, if you are still going for achievements, read a guide. You get achievements for getting 25% completion, 45, etc etc. But you don't get the achievement for the previous percentage if you go over that. Despite all this, I think this is a really interesting indie game, and an impressive effort considering the amount of people working on it. There's a lot of fun to be had, and finally finishing a level you were struggling on is sooo satisfying, but do not go for all the achievements if you value your sanity.
Okay
Fun little game :)
Fun little puzzle platformer, very original
More like Snapturd.
Good
Really smart 2D puzzle platformer, with some clever gimmicks. Feels really satisfying.
Mechanically unique with its endlessly amusing design, Snapshot is a fascinating puzzle-platformer of its time. The central ability to navigating these tricky levels is being able to instantaneously store / place items with a magical camera, whether it's moving a crate for the player to jump on, triggering locked areas and so on. It's no one trick pony though, the level design and complexities nicely amp up throughout the levels, introducing items and challenges with new physics and properties. With that all said, there's a lean towards precision platforming that can lead to the occasional frustration, especially when dealing with physics for the completionists looking to collect each star, find the gallery item, and complete the par time for each level.
