Before you ask, I completed the game more than once, got the true ending, and did at least 75% of achievements. I think it was an honest waste of time on this game. 12 hours from my weekend, and for what? Over seven redos to hear what Pix had to say to us in the car? That's it? I didn't go through tiresome dialogues over and over, hearing the same one every time, sometimes getting one or two new dialogues only to go, "OH! Cool.", searching the internet to complete a complex puzzle that involves actual magic written by people out there. The combat? Sure, Darkest Dungeon and all, but more RNG and only 4 fights. 1 tutorial, 1 infinite, 2 scripted. Seriously? The game looks interesting at first sight, but gets super boring the more you go through. ♥♥♥♥... Signalis did a better job when it came to looping. I'd rather loop in any Dark Souls game than this. Why? Because you can't skip quicker than the majority of storytelling games. You have to wait for some dialogues to load or take their time without being able to fast forward through them, including the worst cutscene skip ever, which takes at least 5 seconds to hold spacebar/lmb to skip. 10 dollars is meh for such a game. It's too short and will be forgotten quickly if Chapter 1 is the ONLY thing this game has to offer. The only thing I like in the game? OST. That's it. Characters? Whiny. Pix? Vrchat OC.
i will admit im just not smart enough to fully complete this game however having to look for clues that literally arent in the game is just not nice i can get behind the difficulty and looking inbetween the lines but if i have to guess how many times i have to notice the time loop (while being a meany for the +self control) and if what im looking for is something that isnt even in the game is just not enjoyable (ps i dont even know where to look outside the game to find the clues i need which i dont even know what they are some guy on discussions said i have to (cause the game doesnt tell you this))
First and foremost - yes, I only beat the game once. If it doesnt interested me on my first walkthrough I highly doubt that something changes on second and the third one. Expected more combat, but you getting only one tutorial fight, one fight that really drags on and forcing you to fall back and two mostly scripted ones. It has some tactical potential, but not enough, for now it feels more like a side-feature than some core gameplay element. Trust and Self-Control gauges seems near useless, still don't understand if they even affected something, plus the game just loves to take or give them to you at seemingly random condition, so dont even bother trying to balance them or trying to find a way to max them out. Story is pretty interesting in the beginning, but falls off pretty quickly. Didnt saw more whiny bunch in a while. Seriosly, when I saw those guys first time I expected someone more collected and prepared, but encountering any amount of pressure sends them into state of panic or distrust in you. "Why didnt you asked Boss about complications? Why do you send me firts?" and more pathetic things like that. Maybe its just me, but that really bothered me. The worst part goes after you getting bagged by that devil-priest-guy. You saving yourself from being killed by him, but passing out and then comes that guy who looks like someone OC than a character from this game, all badass and mighty, doesnt really taking whats happening seriously. I really hate his design and the fact that he seems to have a massive role in whats happening. And I really hate that he telling us that its a story about parallel timelines and such things, because you know how bad stories based on time travel and altering the future are most of the time. And I dont know how developers are going to tie this to future chapters, because the game incourages you play it more than once to see different outcomes and from what I'm getting characters will be aware of their time travel shananigans. Maybe I'm not right, but the fact that its a story about time travel is what turning me off. The only things I liked is artstyle and voice acting. Everything else is either mid, either what I already told.

I spent a handful of dollars expecting maybe an hour to two hours worth of content and instead got sucked into repeating time loops and bashing my head against puzzles until I solved them for around 10 hours. 10/10 would make my one braincell spontaneously combust again.
I first saw this game in a video, watched a little of it (essentially the van scene) and was interested enough and brought it. I am very glad that I did. The characters and story were amazing. I loved playing through each of their story, finding little hidden dialogues each time. The combat is quite similar to Darkest Dungeon (most likely by design). The skills are lacking and there isn't really any builds that could happen. But it does take a bit of skill and understanding to effectively dispose of hostiles. It feels like the combat is secondary to narrative. The artwork in this game is amazing. Its simple and rigid, but it is done super well. Attention to detail is amazing, and I love the scene where it shows the weapons dismantled for inspection (the fact that Dylan's shotgun isn't, makes me laugh). Also the fact that this game is voiced, makes it a whole lot better. The puzzles I feel is the main reason a community exists for this game. They are complex and are the main way to progress with the game, extra scenes giving you hints and such. I found the puzzles to be smart, not directly obvious to the answer. Sometimes needing out of the box thinking. The big puzzle needing to be completed feels too difficult for the main way to progress. I feel like it should be a side puzzle rather then a main one, as you would most likely need outside help. Overall I loved the game. I cannot wait to see the next chapters, and see where the story goes. This game will definitely be on my radar for future content
I'm not usually a fan of these games but something with this game clicked for me the characters the art style and even the story for as short as it is right now i really dig it and the soundtrack too looking forward to more of this game (and the combat was fun too even if there aren't many encounters its fun and easy to understand)
Found this from a YouTube short and it caught my interest and honestly its worth it, the characters are all well written, the choices are well thought out, the voice acting is amazing, the soundtrack is beautifully made and the puzzles are cheeky but it makes it more interesting. The developers should be proud of them self's
Ill start by saying I played this at an early update. This was a very enjoyable experience. 100% the game (as its current point, that is) was a journey and a half, but getting to see all the outcomes and choices made it worth it. My experience did have some bugs here and there, and it was rather tedious to have to sit through the same cutscenes over and over, even if you tried to skip everything. These issues weren't enough to dissuade me from enjoying the gameplay, though. Definitely looking forward to more.
