SJ-19 Learns To Love!

A metroidvania that's as cute as it is well-made, with a surprising imagination for boss fights. Fairly short, but well-worth playing through.

It's definitely short, I beat I beat it in a little more than an hour, but it's so damn good. Very fun, challenging bosses that never get frustrating, and a great story. Amazing soundtrack too.

Ne vous fiez pas par ces graphismes qui peuvent piquer les yeux. SJ-19 à tout d'un très bon MetroidVania ! On contrôle ici un petit robot qui à pour mission de détruire une planète mais notre petit robot jaune n'aime pas vraiment ça. Lui ce qu'il veux, c'est aimer mais pour cela, il va falloir d'abord l'apprendre. Voilà c'est tout. Pour son prix, le jeu n'est pas assez complet ! Il est court, les zones sont petite et on enchaîne les boss et les améliorations. Il reste cependant correct mais je n'aurais pas dit non pour deux trois zones supplémentaire.

After trying two metroidvanias that turned out to be terrible (Frauki's adventure and catmaze) I had low expectations for SJ-19. However, this turned out to be actually good. It's got a good story, and good gameplay at the expense of content, graphics, and sound effects. The only downside is that the game is a bit overpriced and it has to be bought on sale.

This is a very nice little Metroidvania, I'm yet to finish it, but I can tell you with certainty already that this game is very much worth it. The artstyle is cute and progression is marked, is there more to ask from a metroidvania to have fun? :)
