Simon the Sorcerer: 25th Anniversary Edition

ABSOLUTE CLASSIC!

Maybe not the best version, but a great classic none the less.

An excellent graphic adventure game and an icon of the 1990s. It features a solid structure and narrative, with clever puzzles and sarcastic humor. The difficulty level is moderate. I recommend choosing the original graphics rather than the more recent "enhanced" version.

I played the original game and cant believe that its been 25yrs old I love the game and Chris Barrie performs brilliantly its a game that you can get lost in it for hours there are lots of puzzles and many twists and turns if you want a break from killing things this game is well worth trying it will grab you and take you on an adventure I would definitely say its a game you will be glad that its in your library

Auf Deutsch mit Untertiteln gespielt, das Spiel ist ziemlich broken. Erstens hat nur Simon Untertitel, alle anderen Charaktere nicht. Zweitens: In Dialogen oder wenn Simon ein Item untersucht, hat man oft 1-4 MINUTEN Stille. Manchmal ist das überspringbar, oft aber auch nicht. Und wenn man die Stille überspringt, kann es sein, das Teile der Story dann mit übersprungen werden. Ehrlich gesagt macht es das Erlebnis kompett kaputt. Nach dem ich jetzt die Anniversary Edition von Teil 2 angefangen habe, kommt mir der Verdacht, dass es an den Untertiteln liegt. Vielleicht muss man die deaktivieren damit es ohne die Stille läuft. Aber nur eine Idee...

Absolute neutral if I could give one. I love the aesthetic, and I love Chris Barrie - but I just didn't think his delivery suited that of a 14 year old and it just kind of felt disconnected from the game, didn't blend right. One big cause of frustration is that the exits aren't marked, even on hover - so on a number of occasions I was stuck just because I didn't know a specific area even existed. I also found the puzzles as a whole, kind of disjointed and simplistic. I spent the entire first half of the game just unsure what I should even be doing. I was just solving problems for the sake of solving problems - there was no real reason behind anything I was doing. Often solutions made no real sense, even by PNC standards. I've heard the sequel is better, so I'll give that a try - but certainly not in a rush to play this again.

Weil es ein point and click retro Klassiker ist. Auch wem die Kategorie grundsätzlich kein Spaß macht, das Spiel ist super! (Hat auch einwandfrei funktioniert)

La mejor aventura gráfica de mi vida, con 13 años compré este juego atraído por la portada de la caja en una tienda, y poderlo tener de nuevo hoy en día me ha hecho muy feliz. Gracias a Steam. Es una de las mejores aventuras gráficas.
