We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

I can't start any other way. The game has a frustrating combat system that doesn't work well, it doesn't have an easy difficulty, and absense of achievements, modern controller support, save cloud support, etc. are just the tip of the iceberg. The cutscenes and characters (except Alex) feel cheap and sometimes the facial expressions are ridiculous. All of the above shortcomings are wrapped up in a deplorable technical condition. Ask yourself if the above shortcomings would ruin your experience of the story and atmosphere. Thanks to the community guide, I finished the game and I consider the story to be a plus, but it falls short of the qualities of Silent Hill 1, 2, 3 and 4. However, the monsters and bosses are excellent and there are enough weapons/puzzles and different endings to ensure replayability. The soundtrack is amazing and the unlockable costumes are a surprise. Even after squinting both eyes, and as a lover of the Silent Hill series, I cannot recommend this game in this state. In short: Wasted potential, terrible technical condition and no support from the publisher underline the bad experience of the game as a whole. I'm sorry. PS: I still believe that this game will someday reach a technical level worthy of the Silent Hill name.

9 on sale6 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 6 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 9 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Silent Hill Homecoming is a mixed bag. My biggest issue is just the horrible port, i coudn't get the 60fps patch to work so i played the game on 30fps with a lot of crashes. This is also why it took so long to finish, since the crashing would annoy me so much and it felt horrible to make progress just for it to crash. Looking at the game without the looking at the performance. I liked it, kinda. I just finished the game and the last part of the game where very enjoyable for me, i like the boss design and the whole story coming together and revealing itself near the end was amazing. The problem is that i dont remember the ealier parts of the game as well because i took so long to complete it with big breaks in between. But i remember not liking it as much and sometimes just wanting to quit. The combat was fine, it def annoyed me sometimes with some enemies just being very annoying, but perhaps just a skillissue. I didnt mind them trying to cook something new with the combat, it fit the game in my opinion. Overall, if u want to play every Silent Hill game, go for it. If ur a casual player, just move onto something else. I will try to get the 60fps patch to work in the future but playing on 30fps with constant crashes is not worth it if ur not a big Silent Hill fan.
Honestly not that bad compared, went into homecoming from all the hate saying sh 1-4 the only good games and it wasnt the bad, the movement and gameplay felt similar to evil within and playing as alex was fun trying to find his little brother and probally most enjoyable visually boss would be Asphyxia had that centapeed look overall not bad and didnt take long to play through, unlucky steam and konami didnt port achivments on it 7.3/10
Bad port. Controls are clunky and unresponsive. It was a better game on console, which is where it should have stayed.
Should not be sold as is, the game is not functional with or without patches
long time fan of this game happy to see on steam now i have to highly disagree with everyone on this game sure its not lore accurate and its inspired off the film silent hill which was not that good regardless don't let that keep you from a good time the game starts with a Jacobs ladder inspired seen i found that very interesting knowing the whole silent hill series/ franchise was inspired by that film. everyone getting into silent hill now not speaking about the long time veterans i question if they are horror fans this game has a great combat system its brutal it will put you through the hell of Alex Shepard and the atmosphere is truly a silent hill experience i was surprised to see a similar combat system come back in silent hill 2 remake and silent hill 4 and finally the soundtrack is amazing from the man himself akira yamaoka don't follow trends don't be salty enjoy if your a true horror fan and make your own authentic opinion.
I don't personally believe this game is bad and I think it's over hated BUT this port is f*ckin' TRASH!
