Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
9 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
This is one of my favorite Silent Hills, but from Steam I am experiencing overall quality issues; Crashing, glitches (Once you begin attacking, Alex will no longer automatically run)... Quite dissappointing.
its a great game and great story its just the fighting mechanics are a little bit too controlled instead of free how they are best used instead of just aiming with the right mouse button you have to hit shift to be able to attack and its kind of dumb and stressful in quick reactive moments. but the game is still good and great story keeps you involved.

9 on sale6 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 6 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 9 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is laughably bad. The story rips off SH2 and somehow still manages to fail miserably, and the gameplay is a buggy slog through Xbox 360 era sit and wait combat. Personally I can stand this garbage over the frustrating combat in f, but I think I'm just making allowances for a game from 2008. I don't recommend this game for more than 5 bucks, but you might just have some fun lambasting this game with some friends. The only redeeming factors of Homecoming are a couple of decent puzzles, and some bosses are somewhat interesting, in a franchise known for having terrible bosses. However, now that we have SH2R, there's really no award to give to Homecoming for it. Full disclosure, I am a huge fan of the franchise so I might be a little harsher towards the bad games. Everybody knows Homecoming is bad.
This game is honestly underrated. It was hated on back in the day. I think a lot of that was down to certain YouTubers back in the date that hated on games for views. But I think it fits in really well, they did a good job with the town to sorta explore, you got the horror the element which they did it good. The combat isn't bad. The story has lots of twists and is captivating. I remember playing this back in the day, I switched it on to try and the story captivated me. This is honestly one of the best silent hill stories. It's worth buying just for that. The combat has a dodge so you have a lot of good options for combat. It's not hard. Playing any old game on modern hardware can be iffy. I have a 2070 super. It ran fine. If you got FreeSync/Adaptive sync/G-sync put that on as I found it went just that bit smoother. Though this is entirely down to preference. It works fine. Minor annoyance is not being able to save notes to read later. This story has dialogue scenes but there is notes that tell you more stuff about the place. Sadly not all notes are saved to a journal. You have to keep going back to where the note is to read them. I was hoping there would be a mod. But we can always go to the wiki to see the notes. It would just be better if it saved them all.
Silent Hill: Homebugging As of 2026 his is an 18-year-old game. I was wondering where all the negative remarks come from and for that I had to do extensive research. I played this game once before I acquired it on Steam and do not remember having this many technical issues. When it became available on Steam, I still wonder why did they not fix any bugs? Most negative remarks are about combat sequences, the story, character design, lack of reactions to certain occurrences, someone even complained that the prison is located downtown and not somewhere outside the city. If you compare this game to Silent Hill 2 (or the remake of it), of course it's worse. But as a standalone I believe it is worth your time. The series expanded into a direction some die-hard fans would not approve, regardless, it did. This protagonist fights like he is in a different game, doing full circle weapon spins and roll-overs for dodge. I never minded that, actually enjoyed it. The bosses and monster designs and what they represent still amaze me, even on my third run-through. Even the final reveal of what actually happened to the main character holds up and makes sense. I would recommend this game, but never forget, this is an 18-year-ago game, developed way before its release, the team was in a different mindset back then, with technical limitations in mind. This was way before some grand iterations of successful survival horror games. You will have a great time, just accept that like James Sunderland was able to see monsters like Abstract Daddy, which belongs to another character's trauma, Alex Shepherd is able to see and/or interact with the Nurses and Pyramid Head. It's a shared realm of manifested emotions and trauma.
this game makes me want to kill myself in the most painful way possible
The game ran fine on my Linux pc until the first boss fight. I got to the second phase of the boss fight, and the game must have had a memory bleed. I was getting 1 frame per 2 minutes. On my second attempt at the boss, the same thing happened. This game is literally unplayable at this point. I am happy I bought this game for less than $2. Don't waste your money on this one. Watch a let's play or something. Edit: I forgot to mention that this game has a lot of button prompt/qte and the glyphs are not helpful at all. I played with a controller that had to be reconfigured to be playable. Most of the time, the remapped controls were overridden for some reason. It made every qte frustrating.
listening to elliott smith while playing any silent hill game is diabolical but peak gameplay
El juego es buenísimo me recuerda mi infancia y siempre busco jugarlo por la nostalgia que me produce. A gustos colores.
