Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

A fresh take on the silent hill formula, is it as good as the golden days of silent hill? no but its deffo worthy of the name. leans a bit more on the combat side of things then the previous games. interesting story and great visuals.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Buen juego
After finally finishing all endings, I'm so sad that its over. I absolutely loved playing this game and learning more about the characters through every playthrough after the first was my favourite part. It didn't get repetitive since there was so much to find and changing the difficulty every time kept it challenging. I love how the characters are written, they feel nuanced and complex and are not perfect people, each changing as we get to understand them better through Hinako's eyes. Understanding first what Hinako believes and slowly, as the story progresses through each ending, understanding how they actually feel. The horror elements (which I love) are really well done, the soundtrack, art (monster and character design are going crazy, its all gorgeous), and writing in the game all contribute wonderfully to a scary and atmospheric story. I 100% would recommend to play this game, it is hands down my favourite game.
amazing looks great plays great ngl i wish it was more horror but still one of the best
This game goes the way I wanted the series to go since the 4th installment at the very least
I think Silent Hill was always about diving deep into the psychological struggles of the characters and what these struggles would look like in a warped reality that is created by higher beings/powers or simply hallucinations/tricks of the mind? The later parts of the original run from Konami really lost that important part somewhere along the way. Storys that where at best tangential to SH2 would portrait monsters from there and environments which is not really what I would have wished for for that series. The last time I thought we finally get exactly that was when P.T. dropped. That was the most unsatisfying tease of my life. At least regarding video games :D So yeah I'm super happy what they did here and hope that this isn't the last SH we see in the next 10 years. That would be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ war crime. Also I want to talk about the replay ability and subsequent playthroughs a bit (reader discretion is adviced) : I think regular NG+ adds just enough new content to keep the run fresh but unfortunately not every corner got curated as I hoped they would maybe do. Certain cutscenes got extended and/or rewritten. They put new notes and items in new places but not every old note was replaced and not every item you find is satisfying. Looking at you red pills! Sometimes you go to a place where in your previous playthrough was a note but it's for all intents and purposes an empty place now. That happens sometimes and is a bit disappointing. Sometimes you stumble over a completely new area though. For example a house that was previously locked is now open to explore which I think is the most interesting form of new content and I very much appreciated that. Especially because of new notes or items to inspect therein, new puzzles and even new scripted content for a lack of a better term. (I don't want to spoil things here ofc.) They also give you a new side quest chain which is important for the different endings and is encouraging exploring the region again which is great. So yeah they actually have these new things going on but they have to fill a whole playthrough with it, which makes it still only feel barely appropriate. and remember the little boxes by the inari shrines you came across once in a while in your first run that begged to be interacted with? now you can interact with them yuhuu. It's alright but not what I would call outstanding. The bigger problem is that if you want to see all 4 proper endings you have to complete ng+ and start a new playthrough and play through NG+2 at the very least. And other than a few diaries and cutscenes in Hinakos home there is nothing new. I think if they put all that information into a playable epilogue it would have made the experience better. The combat is... I don't know. It tries to be like Dark Souls on higher difficulties but in Dark Souls I always have the feeling that when something goes wrong it is my fault because I didn't see hints or panicked or whatnot. In SHf I always have the feeling that the game is trying to cheat me. How often I got stun locked by enemies in the stupidest ways possible...how often the camera got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. How I wished the game wouldn't feel like you are forced to play in Havels armour fat rolling having the dragon tooth equipped without having the stats for it. It's not a big deal in default difficulty and even on hard you don't die often but it never feels right. I rarely used the sanity mechanic though.. but the few times I used it it also didn't feel particularly game changing so I rarely bothered. I think that If they wanted you to engage with it they should have made it impossible to damage enemies without it or something. .. I don't know I'm not hating it but I'm not eager to play another playthrough. It's a combat system you endure so that you can explore and watch the cutscenes when it's over.. nothing more^^ The bossfights look cool though. also the credit song with the electric guitar slaps! 💥 🎸 🎸 🎸 💥 Technical issues: -Stutter After Rinkos house on the way to the school and back through the town this games struggles the first time with huge stutters (environment changed) the later half of the game has real bad issues with stutter. bummer!! -HDR is catastrophic Epic needs to do something about that or all studios that use UE will not take the time to implement it properly I reckon. SH2R had the same issues. -30fps lock in cutscenes breaks the continuous nature of them when they fade back and forth to gameplay. There is a mod but it breaks a few small animations I found. (Telefon dangling, fluid in drinking bowls, the measle effect when characters get covered by the spider lily's roots) the mod let's you skip the intro banners though which makes it super fast to get in game. Reminded me of using game cartridges back in the day. It's like 10 seconds from clicking launch to hitting monsters with a pipe! Although I don't think it's the perfect Silent Hill I really enjoyed the setting, story, vibes and exploration the game provides. You really notice the devs put their heart into that one!
Silent Hill f is a sadly flawed but deeply interesting game. The writing is great with nuanced characters, as expected from Ryukishi07, and I actually think the gameplay is pretty fun, even if it gets repetitive at times. The huge issue is that to get the full story, you need to replay the game multiple times. The first time has some differences, subsequent ones have practically nothing until the end. Even on replays the game isn't super short, this takes HOURS. I seriously don't know what they were thinking. I don't regret playing Silent Hill f, and it tells a great story, but if you don't think you can put up with beating a game with 7/10 gameplay 3 times, you might want to skip it for now.
