The Scarlet Harvest

The Scarlet Harvest is a indie horror walking simulator with very mild puzzle and action sequences during the second half of the game. The story involves your character arriving to a halloween house party on an abandoned farm, where all hell eventually breaks loose. The game takes approximately 2 hours to complete 100% of the achievements. Remember to light the fireworks in the backyard, they are fun to watch! + The game's atmosphere and graphics are well done, especially if you have a high end computer. The game is a sort of a graphic card hog, and it is not optimized that well. However the lighting in the game is well done, especially all the halloween decorations and neon lights throughout the farm. + The story has some fun unexpected twists and turns as you play. + There are a few fun action sequences during the second half of the game, including a couple of fun boss fights. + The game doesn't take itself too seriously and some of the dialog is funny. - The game doesn't inform you a few controls that you need to know to play the game. In one instance you have to pick up an item with the right mouse button and throw it. Also you can turn on your lighter by flicking the middle mouse button. - One instance where you are stuck in a house with zombies that insta-kill you, one zombie does not, he runs up the stairs. I spent 30 minutes avoiding that zombie because he looked just like the others and I thought that if I went close to him I would die like all the others. Waste of time and bad game design. - Your character constantly says weird things when examining objects, in an AI voice. I would have just taken this feature out, breaks immersion. Its low budget and definitely has its flaws, but I had more fun with this game than I thought I would. Overall: 7.5/10

The Scarlet Harvest was great! The tonality, the environment, the interaction, the details if you really explore and interact with things - bonus for the humor! It even had some pretty decent jumpscares. I enjoyed this and my community loved seeing this game being played on stream. We all had loads of fun with it. Feedback: Maybe I am dumb, but it took way too long for me to figure out that we had a lightsource. (Yes, I should have checked the settings xD) But I would recommend having a overlay to remind the player that you do in fact have a lightsource in the darker parts of the game and which button that is, since it's not F. [i]Status: 100% Completed[/i] Just finished the game and WOW, I didn't expect it to be that good! I really love the vibe and attention to details is crazy, the moment you get chainsaw the game becomes even cooler. It's super ambitious for a solo project, you can even drive a car and both controls and combat are nicely done. The game is also very polished and optimized - I didn't encounter any bugs at all and I don't remember any slowdowns or scripts not working correctly, but there are two cumbersome moments tailed to sprint long jumping - you can perform it only using the controller, at least that was my case. The visuals and atmosphere captivated me, especially the cornfield and the last location. Not a single boring, paddering moment, overall feels like a labor of love. Just play it, really. Once again, another claustrophobic atmosphere, exploring new mechanics and fresh ways of exploration, blending gore, terror, and psychological horror. @tonidevgame keeps growing with every title he creates, always full of new surprises. Highly recommended!

ハロウィン・パーティーで打ち上げ花火をしたい時って誰にでもありますよね そんなときにピッタリなホラゲです 思った以上に良かったです　特に終盤 グロいシーンもそこそこあります でも 何と言うかリアルではなく作り物っぽいので自分のようにグロいのは苦手な人でも大丈夫だと思います たぶん 日本語翻訳は割と良かったです たぶんAI翻訳だと思います エンドクレジットがないので未確認ですが 謎解きやアクションの難易度は易しいです でも これくらいでいいんですよ！インディーホラゲは 初回プレイで全実績取れたのも個人的に高評価ポイント B級インディーホラゲが好きな方に特におすすめします なお 開発元の過去作『Jack Holmes : Master of Puppets』『The Sinking Forest - 沈んだ森 -』も良作ホラゲなので興味がある方はチェックしてみて下さい PS 屋根裏に登った後に何処に行くのか分かりにくかったので掲示板に書いたところ アプデで修正されました ¡Gracias, desarrollador!
