Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
the artistry on display in this game is off the charts and I dont mind developers using the IP if the constant fact about the games on this franchise is that they will have an insane level of aesthetics in their music and visuals
Nice game
The game has alot of great horror elements and meaningful story points. It features multiple endings, which all progress the whole overarching story until you reach a final conclusion. If you loved the anime Higurashi, it's similiar to the various arcs in the show. Be aware- I did play through the game a total of 4 times, but only 3 are required to reach the "True End". But each playthrough DOES feature noticeable differences; in cutscenes, in documents found in the environment, and certain areas being unlockable. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and for 50~ honest hours, I'm happy with the time spent.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm a scaredy cat. Horror games freak me out like none other, but I love watching the gameplay. I decided to give this one a try because the story intrigued me. After the first play through, I wasn't that scared of the enemies or running ahead, and getting each of the endings has been fun to try and achieve. I love the depth of the characters, and the slight changes through each storyline. The small changes in dialogue and notes throughout the playthroughs give more insight into their lives, and I just adore it now.
Silent Hill 2 remake is my favorite game of all time and was therefore super excited for this game. For the full pricetag I definitely wouldn't recommend it. It has elements from Silent Hill 2 but ultimately is much worse in my opinion gameplay and optimization wise. I have a decent pc and surprised to see the gameplay running at around 13-15 fps during some of the FINAL stages of the game. The gameplay is a bit meh. I feel like there's way too many items and it just gets super confusing at times having to switch between inventories and take different items, that essentielly does the same, but with minor differences. Why not just make fewer and make it a whole lot simpler? I also played the game on hard, which I regret. Strongly. The game is in my opinion super hard, and genuinly not fun at all. I also played Silent Hill 2 on hard, but it was the "fun" type of hard. This was unbearable. You're telling me if I kill an enemy and walk away, it's just gonna spawn again in the same exact placement over and over again? If I missed an item that was hidden in a corner, I have to run back and kill the same exact enemies that I ALREADY killed 3 times? I'm sorry, but where is the fun in that? I know I sort of brought this upon myself by choosing hard as a difficulty, but it wasn't like that in the other games? And also the fact that she keeps swinging the weapon into the wall doesn't help... then there was actually too many boss fights by the ending. That's more of a personal opinion, but I signed up for Silent Hill, not Dark Souls. It felt like the game was nearing it's end several times, but kept continuing. It got a little tedious by that point. The story I'd say is pretty decent. It's perplexing at times and even I haven't really grasped the full details of everything, but it definitely intrigued me. The themes in it is very clear and is very much the Silent Hill themes we know of imo. It also shines light on a lot things I would say, and love that it doesn't hold back on it either. The designs of characters and such are REALLY good! Some of the enemies has really unique designs, because of specific things linked to the main characters story. This is one of my favorite part of Silent Hill and love that it was still amazing in this! So no complaining there! And also the atmosphere and location were spectacular as well. The puzzles... oh the puzzles... the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ puzzles. I mean I don't really know what I expected. Silent Hill is known for sort of having this repetitiveness to it's puzzles... but oh lord were they repetitive in this. I believe you had to get crests like 3 times or something? I mean shouldn't we try to vary the puzzles a bit? And also the games puzzles were soooo long. Sometimes there were so many stages to the puzzles, you had to go through 35 stages to get to the final stage, where you then have to find 100000 crests to open a key, which opens... bla bla bla... I will say I did have puzzles on "hard" difficulty as well, so it's my own fault mostly. I just didn't expect it to be like this haha. Would I recommend this for the average gamer? No, not on full pricetag and not with a bad pc. Buy it on sale and with a decent pc. I'd say with my specs as minimum (if you can handle the game running at below 30 fps once in a while, but rarely smoothly) and higher preferably. Would I recommend this for a hardcore Silent Hill fan? Yes, absolutely. I've seen people say it's far away from the other games story wise, and I wouldn't completely agree. It has a strong story with core themes from Silent Hill. The biggest problem for me lies mostly in gameplay being worse from the other game. All in all it's awesome to see them explore different cultures and trying new things out for the Silent Hill franchise! I'm super excited for Townfall, but oh lord hear me... please do not go the same way as this game.
It's not the best Silent Hill but I'd say its worth ehhh....30 bucks.
story is mindblowing, the combat is little repeatitive but overall good game, even not made by Hideo tough....
