About
You’ve been on patrol for multiple days when you see a fleet on the horizon. Your first instinct is to dive and engage, but it’s a clear day and one of the destroyers has spotted you. Now it’s a fight for survival, a naval game of cat and mouse. Avoid the depth charges whilst you fight back and strike when the enemy is at its most vulnerable, or switch to silent running and lose the enemy in the depths below.
Silent Depth 2: Pacific is a sim-lite submarine game, designed for fans looking for an easy-to-learn, arcade-style naval experience without requiring the use of technical manuals or hours of study to manually calculate torpedo launch vectors.
Tailored to fans who fell in love with the original Silent Service series, Silent Depth 2: Pacific is a great choice to ‘get your feet wet’ as we continue to develop new features throughout Early Access.
Much like the highly approachable ‘classic’ submarine games from the past, this game allows you to perform important roles on the ship whilst keeping you focused on maximizing the tonnage you send to the bottom of the ocean. Prepare to scout merchant ships, destroy enemy convoys, launch torpedos, fire your deck guns, and then dive to safety in the deep thermal layers from incoming destroyers.

Approachable ‘cat and mouse’ gameplay set in the Pacific Ocean.
Encounter and evade a variety of enemy fleets & merchant ships on war patrols.
Realistic water simulations for a truly immersive experience.
Intuitive torpedo-based combat with auto-calculated firing solutions, keeping the action fast and furious.
Day and night cycles, offering different challenges and opportunities.
Varied weather conditions can impair visibility, adding an extra layer of complexity.
Sink ships whilst carefully monitoring your limited resources to maximize your daily tonnage score.
A layered damage system that challenges you to react and survive when different ship systems become temporarily or permanently unavailable.
During this Early Access period, we will be hard at work refining and polishing Silent Depth 2: Pacific to deliver the best possible sim-lite submarine experience. We're focusing on implementing a range of feature and quality-of-life improvements from short-term ‘upcoming’ to longer-term goals prior to going 1.0 Please refer to the Roadmap below and join the Discord to share your feedback, experiences and meet the community.

I'd call this Temu U-boat at best right now. Average graphics, zero physics in sinking, enemy vessels turn and change direction instantly instead of gradually, eveything is automatic with judging distance, speed, direction for torp targeting. It's going to need years to cook if it even stays alive that long.
So much promise from a Dev that has made great products in the past. Early Access since 2024 says a LOT and game play says the rest. Not fun, not optimized and not at all the experience that it could have been. So much is lacking that it falls short on so many levels.
Graphics are very basic and the game play is very basic. I played the original C64 version ages ago and this isn't even that challenging.
Wanted to like it, I have played SH series as well aas UBoat, BUT! As a Sub sim light game. Its not even that, there is little more than the same mission over and over. no perks, no points or reward for sinking ships.its basically the same mission over and over again. game is also buggy, your periscope disides to bork and all you see is last screen you were on, dont even try changing settings, that will completly Eff the game. Micropose has been around alot, I mean alot of years, this is 1990's early 2000's issues that should not be in a recent game.
The game says you can click on your damage and fix it....but no. I know their are glitches as it's a test platform, but if several if not a friggen lot, say something doesn't work....maybe you should fix it. Lost the whole patrol due to not being able to fix at sea, 97 percent hull integrity, engine room flooded...same as everyone else. Bummer...they got the money with no real willpower to fix the problem. Hope no one else makes the mistake of buying the game. The idea is sound, graphics good....but fix yer problems. Been long enough.
game is not identifying the mouse input properly
If like the War in the pacific , you Will love this game. Torpedo use is made easier. but you were a fan of the slow tedious way of the previous work up for a torpedo shot, you will not like the game. But I found with the first game not having any Idea what I was doing made it frustrating. its still a work in progress especially surface actions. that need work still. all in all looking forward to full game operation.
Not a bad submarine simulation.
last attempt unable to start game, no mouse movement, screen dead.
Fácil de jogar. Ainda em desenvolvimento.
