About

Take command of a 30,000-ton Scharnhorst-class battleship in this immersive World War II naval simulation.
Explore the ship in first-person, walking its decks, bridges, and control rooms — all meticulously recreated from historical blueprints. Issue orders to your crew or take direct control of key stations, from gunnery and radar to navigation and damage control.
Hunt down merchant convoys, disrupt Allied supply lines, and clash with enemy warships across the stormy Atlantic, icy Norwegian Sea, and sunlit Mediterranean. Dynamic weather, sudden fog, and a full day–night cycle can hide you from your enemies — or conceal them from you.
Use authentic radar, rangefinders, and fire-control systems to track, target, and destroy your foes. Command an entire surface fleet of destroyers, cruisers, and battleships, coordinating maneuvers and tactics to outwit and overwhelm the enemy.
• Authentic simulation of WWII naval gunnery and fire-control systems
• Historically accurate 3D model of the Scharnhorst-class battleship
• Expansive campaign areas covering Europe and North Africa
• Single missions and scenarios — both historical and fictional
• Quick and intuitive scenario editor
• Realistic damage and flooding modelling
• Dynamic ocean, weather, and lighting simulation
• Living world with active convoys, patrols, and merchant traffic

I would say it scratches the itch of silent hunter style of gameplay but for battleships. The only real concern I have is that the game does not have a lot of variety in terms of gameplay. Scharnhorst is my second favorite battleship but I think players might get tired of looking at the same ship over and over. I think at least adding Tirpitz or maybe a Hipper would add a lot more to the game even if they all fight the same. Other than that the game is very good sim and have no massive issues. My dream is to have a game like this set in the Pacific so I could play my favorite Battleship, Ise. You may say my favorite is a weird choice I say shush look at the gun layout.
Should be called fire control simulator. It's fun and worth the price if you have an imagination. Just understand that this game is a really, really fundamentally barebones game. Essentially you are put into the 3d environment where you can either calculate the guns yourself, which is challenging and may give the slightest nod towards the actual practice, or you just basically click one of two buttons to fire your guns. There is no aspect of simulation to this game regarding a battleship or any other naval vessel other than engine, rudder and fire control. Oh. You can choose between HE or AP, but I haven't seen a noticeable difference yet. The damage models so far consist of a graphical sprite explosion and some smoke, but other than that the damage on enemy vessels is very superficial and reminiscent of titles from the early 2000s and 90s. So, the simulation is, you appear, you pick a target and fire your guns. You can then go on vacation to a spot you like or have meant to travel to for some time. The game will continue to target the enemy vessels while you are away. It really requires almost no interaction by the player whatsoever.
Eine klare Empfehlung für alle Simulationsfans! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7zPFphZw00&t=2626s What Bracer and MicroProse are delivering here is already outstanding. Even though the game is still in development, it's hard to believe how polished and gripping the experience already is. The atmosphere at sea is simply magnificent. Plowing through the water with such a behemoth, scanning the horizon, carefully evaluating the radar, and receiving targeting data from your own scout plane – that is pure immersion, and it works brilliantly right now! Very important note: This is a genuine simulation and definitely not an arcade game. Nevertheless, getting started is really accessible, even for newcomers to the genre, which I give the developers huge credit for. You don't get overwhelmed by a wall of switches; instead, you comfortably grow into your role. I am so enthusiastic about this title that I immediately uploaded my first guide on YouTube (Duftis Kanal) to help out new captains. I will definitely be following the development of Battleship Command closely and am looking forward to everything that is yet to come. A clear recommendation for all simulation fans!
this game has potential but as it is its not good but have a good time playing it but it seems like cargo ships take way too many shots to sink, like an excessive amount imo, the controls are terrible, its hard to know whats happening, your convoy doesnt listen to commands, the float plane doesnt return to ship if it does it just crashes into the ocean. you cant measure speed of enemy ships, just gotta guess. its a very frustrating game that i really dont like at the moment
Manual targeting could be better if they keeped it same as the Gunnery Tortral. After that its switching to targets trying to figure out what ship your trying to aim at. Tortral gave you Close to good. and then you just tweeked the range and speed to hit the Parts of the ship ranging from bow to stearn then Rang for Deck to water line. With that I had good hit rates. But after the Tortrals AI took over because I couldnt get the imfo I needed to even know if I was on or not. But if they give us the Trotral Gunnery then ya ill enjoy it more. I also couldnt get my fleet to target diffrent ships they all whent after the same one.. Better off playing Destroyer Command not the steam one the UBI one
I have knly played for a couple of hours but can already see the potential. The game plays very well and reminds me of the older Silent Hunter games. Graphically, it is also very similar (which isn't a slight on Battleship Commander). I've never been very good at stealth, so having a ship with huge guns in it to hit targets from miles away works for me. Being able to walk around the ship gives you a reel feeling of being the commander. Looking forward to the full release.
Requires still lots of work but it is already fantastic to play and I spent good time with it already. Love the audiovisuals gives me the Silent Hunter vibes. Gameplay impressions (more on the channel): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8nbdfpsyZo
this is a really fun sim style game. really easy to learn. bracer listens to feedback and making a lot of improvements to the game i can not wait to see what comes next.
it is enjoyable once you figure out how to play and it is in BETA at the moment

《Battleship Command》
